Enter the property through the main entrance on the ground floor, in to a hallway with plenty of space for coats and boots to be stored. On this floor there are two large bedrooms, the first is a fantastic family room with a double and single bed, Smart TV and en suite bathroom with freestanding bath, separate shower and WC. The second bedroom is a king-size bedroom with Smart TV, it’s very own dressing room plus en suite shower room with WC. There is a small kitchen perfect for the ground floor guests to prepare breakfast and refreshments complete with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave plus a snug room with games console and exposed smuggler’s tunnel covered with glass – a great place to play games, watch TV and make up exciting smuggler stories! A second lounge area on this level has a Smart TV, sofa and pull out table.

Moving up to the top floor you’ll be wowed with the absolutely stunning, open-plan lounge/diner with exposed beams and patio doors opening out onto the garden. This room boasts a beautiful central wood burner, comfy seating in the lounge area together with a Smart TV, and wonderful views of rolling countryside from the windows – this really is a fabulous spot to curl up in front of the fire and watch a movie or two. The dining table is a stunning focal point where all the family can gather around and enjoy time together. The main kitchen is on this floor boasting an island and lots of light. This fully equipped kitchen comes with electric range-style oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and freezer, and a utility room off the kitchen has a washing machine and tumble dryer. We would recommend this property. It is very spacious, with good parking. The kitchen is very well equipped with high-end appliances and plenty of crockery, glasses, etc. There are plenty of towels and the hot water is plentiful. The beds are very comfortable and we all slept well. A nice selection of games to play in the evening. Location is near Read morea beach as well as Looe. An excellent multi generational property with facilities for everyone, ranging from 17-80 we all had a fantastic time. The outside space is amazing and will only get better with the introduction of the outdoor kitchen. Well situated to visit the local hotspots of Looe and Polperro. Would thoroughly recommend this property.

This cottage is a great location, a great size for a big group as you can have all 6 bedrooms. The outdoor space is well landscaped and lovely. It is nice and quiet, with only sounds of nature to listen to. Well furnished and kitchen well equipped. I had concerns over the cleanliness of the cottage, which was disappointing. Owner and cottage companRead morey were responsive, which was good, but it let the cottage and our stay down. Hide

Penrith Barns provided wonderfully spacious accommodation for an our family gathering ( ages ranging from 3 to 73) over New Year and the spread of bedrooms and numerous bathrooms were much appreciated as was the large wood burning stove at the centre of our evening activities.
