Located in an ever popular part of North Cornwall, you will be just a three minute drive from the beautiful sandy beach of Widemouth Bay and eight minutes from the vibrant coastal town of Bude, busy all year round and boasting plenty of shops and restaurants, an 18 hole links golf course, sport and leisure centre, bowling greens, coarse and sea fishing, a choice of beachs and beautiful clifftop walks. The picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac, with fine local cuisine and famed for its association with Doc Martin lies to the west, as does ever popular Padstow and Newquay. Other places of interest accessible from here include King Arthur’s castle, The Eden Project, Crealy Adventure Park, Bodmin Moor, and numerous National Trust properties and gardens, such as Lanhydrock.

Stepping into the delightfully beamed two storey barn conversion you will immediately find yourself in a light and cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Here squishy sofas, a Smart TV and a warming wood burner effect electric fire welcome you into the lounge area. The dining area is beautifully appointed with a contemporary country style kitchen table, settle and dresser and the well appointed kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, Nespresso Coffe Machine, dishwasher and washing machine. Heading up the stairs to the first floor you will then discover the bedrooms, each boasting a beautiful double height ceiling with original exposed beams. These comprise a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower and WC, and a delightful twin bedroom. There is also a separate bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Heading outside, there is an enclosed private garden to the front of the cottage with lawn area, gravelled patio area, garden furniture and charcoal BBQ. Ample private off-road parking is provided within 10 yards. Shared on-site leisure facilities within about 20 acres of private woodland and farmland include an indoor tennis court, pool table, table tennis, giant outdoor chess,river trout and coarse lake fishing, woodland walks and a kite flying field.

Myself, my husband and our 20 month old little girl stayed here last week! The barn was perfect for us and had a lovely cosy vibe with plenty of things to do on the grounds itself. The playroom was fully stocked with plenty of toys for little ones. We played pool and took a few walks around to see the many sheep. The location was ideal for us, Read morewhilst there is nothing nearby or within walking distance that wasnt a problem for us. I would absolutely recommend this place to a friend and if we ever find ourselves in Cornwall again, would certainly consider staying here :) this is a lovely spot! Hide

Well equipped cottage in a great ,quiet location. Good access to paths and fields to walk dogs. Within easy reach of local beach and town of Bude. Comfortable base to explore from.

The cottage was a perfect idyllic home from home. Cathy has thought of everything to make the stay special, for you and your furry companions. We chose this cottage for it's proximity to both Bude and Widemouth Bay. We will definitely be back!

This was the best property we have stayed in near Bude so far. It was a lovely size, well located for the beach and Bude, clean, well equipped and had a very comfy bed! We also enjoyed the surrounding are to for a walk and the games room. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful cottage and lovely grounds. We especially loved the layout, decor and the garden. . We filled the bird feeder with seeds and enjoyed watching the birds feeding especially the woodpeckers. The weather was in the high teens low twenties when we stayed. The living room does not get direct sunlight so we found it a bit chilly in theRead more morning and evening especially for my 88year old mum so had to put the heating on for her. We did enjoyed our stay at Bevilles Barn. It was clean throughout, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the double bed was one of the comfiest we've had in a holiday cottage. The welcome pack was enjoyed by us both! We loved bird-watching from the front door and had regular visits from woodpeckers, besides the usual garden birds. This cottage is lovely, a real Cornish gem. It offers high a standard of accommodation, with all the modern touches, but with a nice traditional quirky feel to the place. Ideally located to places of interest and beaches and set in lovely peaceful Cornish countryside. I will certainly be coming back again for another holiday soon.
