Conveniently situated in the village and close to the historic Georgian port as featured in the Poldark TV series, where there is much to see and do. Within walking distance you can discover The Tall Ships at Charlestown a perfect place to relax on the historic quay where time has stood still. Carlyon Bay has a fabulous coastline with some lovely walks, sheltered coves and traditional fishing villages including Fowey to the east and Mevagissey to the west. Attractions in the area include The Eden Project, The Ship Wreck Centre, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Poldark Mine, St Michaels Mount and National Trust properties including nearby Lanhydrock house.

Very clean apartment with easy parking.Ten minute walk to harbour. Quietly positioned,despite closeness to housing opposite.lots oh eateries around the harbour but main food shopping only available at 2 local supermarkets.

Maison Brun was a fab holiday flat. It's on a quiet road about 5 minutes walk downhill to Charlestown harbour with its cute shops, restaurants and bars. Also great access to the coastal path. This was a compact studio style apartment with kitchen/diner/sitting area in one. The double bedroom with ensuite was adequate but a bit short on storage. The second bedroom was very snug and would probably have better suited 2 children than adults. Bathroom was fine but would have benefited from a mirror above the basin and a shelf or two. The cottage is located in a quiet street within 15 mins walking distance of the harbour in Charlestown. Coming back is a steady up hill climb that could be an issue if you have mobility issues. The accommodation is a flat rather than a cottage with a private flight of stairs from the front door. Again this could be a mobility issue.
