This spacious apartment is ideally located; its rooms inhabit the entire ground floor of an imposing Victorian property overlooking the estuary and the bay beyond. This property is just a short walk from the town's quay, pubs and restaurants. Ready Money Cove is a few minutes away on foot, with a sandy beach with rock pools to enjoy or from which to launch your kayak and explore the bay. Take a trip to Polruan on the passenger ferry or travel to the village of Mevagissey on a small ferry - a pretty coastal boat trip. Top visitor attractions to visit during your stay include The Eden Project, Hangloose Adventures, Charlestown (one of the filming locations in the TV series Poldark), and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. For wayfarers, there are countless beaches and coastal walks within easy reach. For golfers, there are several good courses a short drive away at Carlyon Bay and Lanhydrock.

On arrival at the ground floor period residence enter the hallway through the front door (via a short series of steps) and into the light and spacious open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner. This lovely living area is perfect for socialising with your loved ones. Unwind with a book and sit in the window seat to take in the views or laze on the sofa to watch your favourite film on the Smart TV. The dining area has plenty of space for all the family to sit down and plan your day exploring your surroundings over a morning coffee. The contemporary kitchen area is perfect for all your cooking needs with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Head through to the master bedroom with a king-size bed, plenty of storage and your own vanity unit. Continue up three internal steps and you’ll find another king-size and a twin bedroom, all with plenty of storage space. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC and there is also another shower room with WC.

Head outside onto the front terrace and sit on the bench or comfortable sun-loungers and gaze out to sea to watch the boats go by. Driveway parking for one car is available opposite the property. Please note this property has a private water supply. "

Had a fabulous week in The Castle View apartment. The view from the front window seat is spectacular. The car parking space is an added bonus as parking is difficult. The apartment is well equipped with all you need for a week away. There are steep steps up to the property but well worth it for the view. Yes you can hear those in the apartment upstRead moreairs moving around but we didnt find this a problem. We will definitely be returning as we loved the view and the location. There are plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance and loads of places to visit in the local vicinity. Hide

Absolutely fab accommodation. Homely with everything you need while on holiday. Owner was more than helpful. Definitely would rebook if in Fowey again.

This ground floor flat was spacious well equipped and catered for all our domestic needs. There was an off road parking area, shared with the flat upstairs, in front of the property, from which two steep flights of steps lead up to the 'front' door on the side of the house. This could be hard work with heavy suitcases. However, the view from the LoRead moreunge window across the Fowey estuary from Polruan to the sea was magnificent and was quite distracting coming down the steps. Hide

Fantastic place to stay. Loved the well equipped kitchen which meant that we didn't have to eat out all the time. Even though the weather wasn't fantastic, having the large window seat to chill out on was a big bonus. Many an hour spent watching the boats with a gin and tonic. Very quiet and restful. A lovely spacious property in a great location (with all important parking) It has a great view across the estuary mouth from the wide bay window with a long window seat (you could just stay there for hours!) Note that there are two flights of steps up to the property. Just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Fowey and also very close to Ready MoneyRead more Bay and walks arund the headland. Beautiful apartment in Fowey with amazing views. Weather really not that great whilst we were there but that didn't dampen our spirits. We've stayed in Fowey & Polruan most years for the last 12 years and this apartment has been our favourite so far. Few niggly things with shower pressure in the main bathroom & the noise from the apartment upstairsRead more but that wouldn't put us off staying here in the future. We were very sad to leave. We stay in Fowey every year but have never stayed in this house. It was a beautiful place with breathtaking views and lovely responsive hosts. Couldn't fault it.

Beautiful home in a perfect position. If you have any mobility concerns, this is not be the house for you. It is close to town (10 minutes) andFowey is full of beautiful shops and places to eat. This is the second time we have stayed at Castle view, one of the best views over to Polruan and the open sea, a well equipped apartment with a parking space a real treasure in Fowey. Sitting in the bay window while enjoying the view at any time of the day is the most relaxing part of the holiday! We will definitely visit again. Many thanks

We really enjoyed our stay and even the weather outshone the rest of the Country. The property is in a fantastic and enviable position and well appointed. There are some steep steps from the road below to consider.

I really recommend this beautiful property. Its situation is superb, only a short walk into a town with lots of shops, restaurants, pubs etc and a mere 5-minute walk from a gorgeous sandy beach with a little ice cream shop. Great for young families. There are fabulous views from the seating area in the living room and the sofas are comfy.
