This single-storey property is accessed via a short flight of wooden steps, which takes guests to the decked veranda. From here, on entering the lodge, guests will find themselves in the attractive and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, fridge freezer and washing machine. The property’s bedroom is an attractive king-size, with valley views, which benefits from an en-suite shower room with WC.

Outside, the property has a pleasant, raised, decked veranda with seating and a BBQ, as well as its own private lawn. Additionally, guests are able to make use of the owner’s garden, a spacious acre, with views across the valley. Storage for bikes is also available.

Having stayed at Nuthatch lodge previously, I knew what to expect. A warm welcome from Lesley. Also a nice surprise bottle of wine waiting for me, plus some lovely tasting eggs from her own chickens. This is a lovely place if you value peace and quiet. Another positive is, it's only a 20/25 minute drive to Looe and Polperro.

A lovely compact place, in an ideal location for exploring Cornwall. It was very well equipped and we very much enjoyed our stay, despite the weather!

Really nice lodge with stunning views and very friendly hosts. Good access to major roads making it relatively easy to get out and about but watch the right hand turn onto the A38. Wouldn't recommend the halfway house pub for food but if you get the chance drive to the Lanivet Inn just outside Bodmin really nice food. Some good stately homes to visRead moreit and Bodmin Jail definitely worth a visit. Hide

We have had an amazing stay at Nuthatch Lodge, Lesley the owner is a really lovely lady and the holiday accommodation is a credit to her. We were lucky with the weather (only had one day of rain) so we were able to sit outside in the evening and enjoy the late sun. The Lodge is in a lovely area and I'm sure we will return.

Staying at this lovely lodge exceeded all our expectations. Peace and quiet and everything you need for a great holiday location with many attractions near by. The Halfway House (pub) has an excellent menu, good food at a reasonable price (book early, it's that good). All in all, you will not be disappointed booking your holiday here.
