The popular coastal village of Bacton offers a range of local amenities including a pub, shops, cafes and a traditional fish and chip shop all within walking distance as is the sandy beach. If you want to head out to explore for the day then why not hire a boat at Wroxham (14 miles), gateway of the Norfolk Broads National Park which boasts miles upon miles of scenic waterway which can also be explored by foot or bike, where you can stop off at one of the many riverside pubs for a nice meal or a drink or two. Cromer (11 miles) and Sheringham (16 miles) offer a larger array of traditional seaside fun with piers, amusements, restaurants and independent shops.

You enter this charming and cosy mid-terraced property via the front door and arrive in the lobby area where you can kick off those sandy boots and head in to explore the property. Into the well-equipped kitchen that has everything, the chef among you needs to prepare a hearty meal with the use of an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. From the kitchen towards the back of the property, you have the open plan lounge/dining area which is a great place to relax and unwind on one of two comfortable sofas which surround a Smart TV/DVD player and a wood burner, perfect for chilly and dark winter nights. If you decide to eat in of an evening or just for a spot of lunch, then there is a dining table and four chairs. There is a downstairs bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC which is located off the kitchen. Due to the age of the property, there is a steep staircase that leads up to the master bedroom which is a double room and bedroom two which is a twin room both of which have plenty of space to hang up your clothes or store away personal items.

The rear, enclosed courtyard area is accessed via the lounge and is a lovely spot to enjoy a morning coffee, some evening cocktails or indulge in some al-fresco style dining on the table and chairs provided. There is free unallocated on-street parking outside the front of the property.

Lovely little cottage really close to an amazing stretch of sand. The beach is 2 minutes down the road! Cottage is small and cozy, and tucked off the main road. The stairs are quite steep. Town is great, nice cafe in the centre, and good walking along the coast near by. Can access plenty of Norfolk with a car. Would love to stay again.

Just me and my dog, two mins walk from an amazing beach, pub 5 mins stroll. Cottage was perfect and everything there youd need plus I loved the fire. Bed was great and slept brilliantly. Would definitely go back and credit to the owners for making place like that available.

Such a cosy cottage in a wonderful location, minutes from the beautiful and often empty beach, our dog Alfie loved having a paddle in the sea, lovely walks first thing in the morning and early evening. Felt so relaxing and chilled.

A lovely little cottage a short walk from a fantastic sandy beach. The cottage was clean and tidy though could do with leaving a brush/mop out so we could clean up the sand we walked in. Local facilities were also all lovely. The twin beds were comfortable, not so much the double bed. It's a very small cottage but would work for 4 people comfortablRead morey. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay again. Hide

What a gem of a cottage though basic, so quaint and cosy plus everything you need for a perfect stay.. brilliant log fire for the colder evenings, had the door to courtyard garden open in the mornings to let in the warm sunshine. The location is spot-on for the beach at the end of the lane, another gem shush!!

Excellent location, so close to the sea front, which was a several times a day walk. The cottage is well equipped with all you need & more. Just be careful if youre tall like us, its a true quaint seaside village cottage & you need to duck! We found a fab cafe down the road, a chippie that did gluten free! & a convenience store if you need, all in Read morevarying walking distance, which we loved as meant no driving on some days. This is a superbly located cottage, a stones throw from a sandy and often quiet beach, and shops and cafe at Walcott. It is compact (we stayed with 4 people plus a large dog and coped fine) but very well equipped. Plenty of child and dog friendly walks and activities nearby. We had a wonderful time - thankyou!

Nice clean cottage two minutes from dog friendly beach. Lovely gravel courtyard garden. 2 good size bedrooms but downstairs is smaller than photos suggest as is bathroom. We thought double mattress was uncomfortable and needed replacing. Easy to park outside cottage every day but this was before main holiday season.
