From here, pick up the South West Coast Path and head north to Porthtowan, 4 miles away, for superb clifftop views, or go the other way towards Godrevy (6.5 miles) and Hayle Beach (10.5 miles) for family-friendly golden sands. St Ives and its famous Tate St Ives (16 miles) are perfect for a day trip, while Newquay and Fistral (21 miles) are a great option for surfers.
