The house was terrific and very well equipped for a large group. We particularly appreciated the spacious bedrooms with places to sit, and the sunroom with extensive views down the river. The dining room is ideal for a large group to share a meal. The lounge with log burning stove was a cosy night time retreat. Two very large fridges plus a freezerRead more had capacity for a week of groceries. There was lots of hot water and heating that works well. Hide

Laxford Cottage is ideally located for exploring the North West coast of Scotland. The setting is stunning with marvellous views down the river to the loch, where on many a morning we watched an Otter playing.
