This beautiful property is set in a peaceful location next to Glencruitten Golf Club and the forest. Oban is only 1 mile away and boasts an excellent range of independent and bespoke shops, friendly inns and quality eateries which strengthens its reputation as the 'Seafood Capital of Scotland’. Oban is known for its whisky, and you can take a guided tour of the Oban Distillery to learn about the whisky-making process and enjoy a tasting session. Atlantis Leisure Centre (2 miles) has a swimming pool, a gym, squash courts, a climbing cube, tennis and a children’s soft play area and is perfect for keeping children entertained. Visit the historic McCaig's Tower (2 miles) and enjoy the panoramic views over the bay or enjoy a wildlife boat trip and spot puffins, seals, sea eagles and perhaps even whales. Ferries from Oban link with Mull and other islands in the Inner Hebrides. Oban is the perfect place to base yourself for any Scottish adventure.

Whether it's a delicious breakfast or a hearty dinner, this versatile area offers ample space for memorable dining experiences. On a sunny day open the door to the rear garden where there’s a seating area. Loved the size, the layout and all the equipment which was provided. The only area that could be improved upon was the sofas, which needed cushions to help comfortable seating.

We had a lovely time at Rowantree . The place was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It was warm and comfortable. Thank you for the welcome pack and fresh flowers. Th e location was great . An easy walk into Oban with lots of places to enjoy in the surrounding area. Our week just flew by. Highly recommend.

Rowantree is a fabulous place to stay. Spotlessly clean, modern, relaxing and well designed with everything you need. It was very handy to visit Oban and for the ferries to Mull and Kerrera. I highly recommend staying here.

Rowantree is a beautiful holiday cottage with everything provided that you could possibly need. The furniture and decor is of a very high standard throughout and the beds are extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend if planning a holiday in the Oban area

Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean and good modern facilities, all well maintained. We used the outdoor space will meals on the patio and nice chairs for relaxing with a sundowner. Handy for town for supplies and restaurants etc whilst far enough to feel secluded and away from it all. Great location for exploring the area.

Location was very good, quiet and not to far from the town. Only 4 stars because you can't see the sea, just a personal view on the location. A very friendly and nice host, helps where she can even with alift home from the pub. Great location for golfers, course is nearby, yHou can let some clubs, very friendly. Rowantree cottage is perfect in every way. We found it to be immaculately clean, stylish and comfortable. We spent a week in the wonderful Rowantree Cottage in Oban. The property is immaculate throughout, incredibly clean and it really felt like home away from home. Oban has so much to offer with plenty to do on the doorstep and some incredible wildllife. We saw otters, white tailed eagles, seals, plenty of sea birds and we were treated to a sighting oRead moref a beaver in the forest of Knapdale. The accommodation is absolutely top notch, finished to perfection, with every need catered for, we've stayed at some lovely places across the world and this is up there in the top 3, if it was possible to give 10 stars out if 5, it would get it, a very big positive for us taking my elderly Mum is that it all completely flat so for anyone unfirm on Read moretheir feet it's perfect. Wonderful cottage. Clean, spacious, neutral decor. Well equipped, and very comfortable. Only one downside, elderly mother found it difficult to walk around the garden, which was gravelled.

We travel a lot both abroad and in the UK and Rowantree is one of the best rental properties we have stayed in. It is immaculately clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is perfect for Oban and surrounding areas. Communication from the owner was excellent We would highly recommend Rowantree.

Everything is just perfect, if there were more than five stars, I would give it 6 or 7. It is spacious, wonderfully located, a 20-minutes walk from town and also close to hiking areas, calm, very clean, warm and extremely well equipped with every single detail, for example coat hooks outside for wet clothes, comfortable beds. It is a beautiful cottage it a quiet location and within a short walk of the centre of Oban. A very well equipped, comfortable and roomy cottage. We have no hesitation in recommending it and would certainly love to return.

A wonderful place to stay. The owners have provided everything you could possibly need. Everywhere is spotless and very very comfortable. It's in a great location with an easy 20 minute walk into town and a 5 taxi ride home. Loved our stay there, it's the best holiday cottage we have ever rented

This property was spotless and very well appointed. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could want along with a huge dining table. There is a gas pizza oven/bbq in the private garden with seating for four outside and picnic bench. The bathrooms were clean and modern, one with a bath and overhead shower and the other with a walk inRead more shower. You can walk into Oban down the hill or a few minutes drive.
