We wanted a place to enjoy our pre-wedding honeymoon, with somewhere scenic, remote and a place to relax. We also wanted a small village to be able to walk and have breakfast, and also a local pub with good food. There was not a single thing about the holiday that we'd change, expect for the duration. The local amenities were amazing, with the locaRead morel pub and cafe providing really good food and service. And the cottage itself was amazing, with panoramic views of Hartside Pass, with alpacas and horses on the adjacent field (the alpacas like bananas and are keen to be fed). It's one of the rare places that we will look to visit again, for sure. Thanks Graham! Hide

Stayed here over the bank holiday weekend and what a stunning, relaxing and romantic little cottage it was. Very spacious with plenty of different areas to relax and unwind. The hot tub had the best views over the moors and the hills. Everyday we walked in the lake District which was only an hour to Helvellyn and Derwent Water. Beautiful cottage with super views and well located for the lake district area. Well equipped and surprisingly spacious. The local village bakery and pub are both within an easy walk and are both worth visiting. Highly recommended property.

A wonderful cottage, very well equipped, spacious and really warm (the underfloor heating works like magic), and the views are just gorgeous - photos really don't do them justice. We had hot sunny weather for our week there and enjoyed breakfast in the flowery garden, gazing at the scenery as llamas strolled by and bees hummed. The decor is a fabulRead moreously quirky mix of incredibly tasteful mixed with high kitch, seamlessly blended together, we loved it! Not to mention the great hot tub - bliss! Hide

We booked this as a last minute short break and could not have chosen a better place to stay. The views are amazing, with the added bonus of the hot tub to enjoy them in. The llamas and the cats make great neighbours. I cannot recommend this place enough.

We had an amazing time at Coachmans Cottage. It's quirky but fun. Ideal location to view many attractions. The hot tub was great for stargazing after a day out sight seeing. Graham and Mark were very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and happy to chat whenever we saw them.
