The shoreline is a beautiful stretch of sand and pebbles that is perfect for a stroll or a picnic. Those looking for more of an adventure, hike up Goatfell, 15 miles away, or travel 10 miles across the island to see the Machrie Standing Stones. Lovely cottage in a wonderful place. The cottage has everything you need for a good holiday...it was clean and the beds were comfortable. We saw red squirrels and hares outside and lived watching the various boats passing by. Deer and seals were also seemingly not too far away. The local shop and cafe are great additions too. We had a great time anRead mored hope to return. Hide

A comfortable, well-equipped cottage in a lovely position just outside he village of Pirnmill, overlooking the Mull of Kintyre and the Firth of Forth. The local shop in the village is fairly well-stocked and the local restaurant, the Lighthouse, well worth a visit.
