The cottage is in a stunning location. The photographs however don't tell the full story. When I booked the "At a glance" information said unsuitable for under 8s but made it sounds perfect for those with some mobility issues but this is not so. A comment has now been added about the deep bath and mobility, in the photo it looks like an ordinary bRead moreathroom, however as the bath is really deep a plastic stool was provided to aid entry, however you had to have the mobility to be able to avoid the glass screen with nothing to hold onto and no bath mat was provided for in the tub In a cottage for 4 adults having a soaker bath in the only bathroom is style over practicality. The seating in the living room was also very low and the settee seat cushions had lost all the support. There is a no shoe policy, whilst the slippers were a nice touch the entrance hall was very tight, room for only 1 person in the doorway, nowhere to sit and there was nowhere to put wet gear, it needs a porch. We booked for 2 weeks and was told the owners had to have access to water the plants on the Saturday which we agreed to but they also came in another day unannounced when we weren't there which was unforgivable. Added to the list of rules and the uncomfortable seating it really spoiled the holiday. Hide

A wonderful home from home with kind, supportive owners. A lovely, well equipped, peaceful place to stay and yet so near the essentials with a small well stocked shop within an easy walk. Highly recommend. Watching the wildlife from the window was amazing for our grandson. We will be back!

A beautifully appointed cottage. Living plants and fresh flowers give a home-from-home feel and the welcome extras left for us were particularly appreciated. The owners were also kind enough to forward on a little book which I left at the cottage by accident.
