New Lodge is set in an elevated position with stunning views and six acres of gardens. The house, which is in a secluded setting, has spectacular far-reaching views to Ben Wyvis and the mountains of Strathconon. A range of extensive paths and tracks direct from the house gives access to the surrounding unspoilt countryside which provides a habitat for many rare and protected species of wildlife. Located in the Ross-Shire countryside with the vibrant and popular city of Inverness just 20 miles. There are many country walks and cycle paths to enjoy, taking you to the dramatic Black Rock Gorge (4 miles) or take a woodland walk up to the Fyrish monument for spectacular views over the Cromarty Firth (9 miles). This property is in the perfect location for a true Scottish adventure.

On entering this magnificent accommodation you will find yourself in the impressive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with underfloor heating throughout the ground floor. Step into the handy boot room, the perfect space to leave your coats and shoes after a long walk which also has a separate WC. The lounge is an ideal space for relaxing and enjoying the views or watching a movie on the Smart TV, the charming dining area is perfect for sharing a meal together. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, two electric ovens, dishwasher, American fridge/freezer with ice maker, microwave, dishwasher and a centre island with seating to keep the chef of the party company. Next to the kitchen is a utility room with a washing machine and dryer and a separate shower room and WC. The second lounge area with a wood burner (first basket of logs included) is the perfect spot to curl up with a good book. Completing the ground floor is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a spa bath, separate shower and WC. Completing the property is a self-contained flat that can be accessed from the stairs in the utility room, perfect for those that want their own space. It has an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. There is a comfortable sofa and Smart TV in the lounge area and the kitchen area has a large island in the middle with breakfast bar seating for three and an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. There is one light and bright double bedroom and a shower room with WC.

Venturing outside, the spacious wrap-around garden is located amid 6 acres of private grounds. There is a large patio seating area to enjoy al fresco dining or admire the lovely views and a large lawn for children to play. A long, private gravel drive, giving guests plenty of parking within the grounds, is available directly in the rear of the property. Please note there is a pond on the lawn that is not covered so caution must be taken.

This is a stunning place to stay! The views and the setting are exquisitely beautiful; the Highlands at their very best. The house is amazing. It is comfortable, functional, and extremely well equipped. It is the perfect place to retreat with a group of friends or with family. The host was very responsive to requests.

Excellent accommodation which was very well equipped in a location with million pound views. Extremely relaxing 5 star venue, which we will definitely return to on our next visit to the Highlands!

The setting and property are just wonderful. We enjoyed a wonderful week at New Lodge, the property was exceptionally well equipped, beautifully presented and offered everything we needed including a lovely welcome hamper. We loved the Highland cows throughout the house and were inspired to buy our own to bring home. Fabulous views and so peaceful.Read more I would recommend to anyone and hope to return to this wonderful part of the world again. Hide
