Nice traditional style log cabin, great location with plenty of space and all the kitchen basics that you need. Unfortunately the inn next door has been shut down for some time but would recommend the cafe at Benmore Botanic Gardens for lunch.

Boasting a hot tub, jacuzzi bath and sauna, we expected a degree of luxury. Sadly it did not deliver. The location is lovely however the lodge needs some TLC. The deck steps are rotting, the outdoor furniture very wobbly, parasol broken. Inside there's a lack or storage 2nd wardrobe being used to house ironing board, hoover etc. Shelf missing in thRead moree kitchen cupboard, microwave rusty inside. doors all difficult to close. No WiFi, no parking adjacent as described plus lots of other niggles Hide

Nice quiet location for a restful break. Actual lodge is a bit tired, but has all one requires. Parking can be a bit of an issue, with no parking out side the lodge. Pity that the pub next door is closed. Now requires a three mile drive for a meal.

Highly recommend if youre looking to experience Scotland. It was our first time and we got to tackle several amazing hikes, visit an aquarium and have quality family time at this beautiful lodge. Plenty to do, we are going to have to come back at some point to explore this amazing place further!

Strongly recommended to all nature lovers. Nothing can beat sitting in a hot tub on the terrace looking at the lake and the hills, with the trees towering over you and the birds singing in the branches. There's plenty of beautiful walking trails, however need a car to get to some of them. Shame about the inn closing down.
