This has to be the best equipped holiday house we have ever stayed in. There were two complete sets of dishes, one a nice crockery pattern and one high quality classy plastic one - great to use outside and with our 3 boisterous children. The kitchen was superb, with the biggest dining table we have ever had. It took us a while to realise there was Read morea second full size fridge hiding behind one of the classy kitchen unit doors. It also took a day or two to realise the cutlery tray in the dishwasher is actually a pull out flat tray at the top. We'll miss that at home inour own dishwashers. The washing machine and tumble dryer were well used. The bedrooms were really good, from the small double to the massive master bedroom and en suite. Having the main lounge upstairs was slightly inconvenient, but meant the adults coud retire there when the children had all gone to bed. The outbuilding with the gym, games room and seating area was well used. The children loved being able to be on their own out there, although they weren't allowed in the gym on their own. An added bonus was the sheltered, walled bbq area with the bench seating. The poor weather meant we only used it twice, once for a BBQ and once to toast marshmallows over a fire pit we had brought. We managed to eat outside twice at the large wooden table. A huge bonus was the dryer for wet suits, rainwear, damp towels after the hot tub, and even boots and shoes. We had a brilliant time on Tiree, despite the weather, much of which was due to the house. We had a couple of queries and the owner was great in assisting us. I'd love to say we'll be back, but we tend to try different areas each year. However, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday in a beautiful house situated in a great position. Hide

Wonderful house, everything you could possibly need, very well equipped and very comfortable beds. Excellent location, the beach is within walking distance and so is the airport and The Reef Inn if you want to have dinner and drinks.

Fantastic, well equipped cottage in a really central location. Walkable from airport, close to Reef Inn and only 15 mins walk from Crossapol beach, one of my favourite beaches! Third year in a row holidaying on Tiree and best holiday house weve stayed in so far.

The cottage was beautiful. Plenty of space for a couple of families. The hot tub was a real hit, as was the games room.
