Situated midway between the Black Isle and the northern edges of Cairngorms National Park, this is a wonderful area for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and nature-lovers. Heading north from the property, you can visit the popular city of Inverness which has a fantastic variety of great pubs, restaurants and shops as well as attractions including Inverness Castle, the Botanic Gardens, St Andrew's Cathedral and Eden Court Theatre. Further along Moray Firth is the Victorian seaside town of Nairn, where you can take a stroll along the stunning beach. Heading west you can explore the famous Loch Ness. Other local places of interest include Culloden Battlefield, Tomatin Distillery and Clava Cairns.

Three steps lead up to the property with patio doors leading you into the spacious, fresh and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge has beautiful country views and is a lovely space for relaxing in, with plenty of seating, a TV and traditional wood burner. There's a useful breakfast bar and the stylishly designed kitchen is fully equipped with an oven and hob, microwave, washing machine and a fridge with an ice compartment. You will also find two cosy bedrooms – a king-size room with a TV, and a twin room, as well as a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Going outside, you can relax and enjoy the views from the large garden which features an extensive decked area with plenty of outdoor furniture including a hand-built wooden picnic bench and outdoor draughts game. This is a great space to enjoy al fresco meals, a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The garden also features an abundance of wild birds, so it's a great spot for bird watchers. Ample parking is available on the driveway for two cars. Please note that there are horses in surrounding fields. There are lots of cycling opportunities and trails and walking routes. The property is also a short drive to Inverness to enjoy the restaurants and pubs.

Perfect holiday home, warm, clean, comfortable and ever changing views of the surrounding countryside. Mags is lovely and checked in on us after a very long journey to make sure we were ok. Would certainly recommend as a holiday destination.

The cottage exceeded expectations. Mags was incredibly welcoming when we arrived. Cottage was a great base for a few days, only 15 minutes into Inverness and about 20 minutes to Nairn beach. Our second wonderful stay at this property! A home from home but with better views. For us it feels like such a brilliant location to explore the highlands from. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The Clubhouse was a perfect place to stay, it was spotless, very well equipped and the location was perfect, it was so quiet and peaceful and we could just sit and look at the view and the local wildlife, we even had a couple of pheasants trotting past each day! Mags was a wonderful host, very thoughtful and had put wine and milk in the fridge! It'Read mores very handy for places like Inverness, Nairn, Loch Ness and we even ventured to Aberdeen for the day! Brilliant holiday let. Compact but not cramped at all. Lots of little personal touches. Directions for arrival were spot on - couldnt have been clearer! We had a fantastic stay at the Clubhouse. It had everything we needed, including a well equipped kitchen. The whole property is lovely and clean and immaculately decorated. We enjoyed watching the birds, especially an amusing pheasant that visited the patio and a hare that rested by the window. Excellent accommodation. All needs catered for. Extra nice touches such as milk wine biscuits t bags etc provided. The cottage is warm and comfortable a proper retreat. We saw wildlife such as pheasants and a hare and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

The Clubhouse is a peaceful, comfortable lodge situated in lovely scenery. It has all the comforts of home and more. On clear nights, it has a wonderful display of the stars and the night sky with stunning sun rises as it comes over the hills. What an amazing stay! Thank you Mags for being the best host. We were spoilt to have our own winter wonderland straight outside our door. The views are truly stunning from the Clubhouse. Great location to access Inverness, Cairngorms and the surrounding area. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling with their furry friend.

A beautiful modern and comfortable property to base yourself for exploring and discovering the beautiful Scottish villages, cities, lochs etc. Just 10 minutes easy driving to Inverness (great eating and shopping) but yet so so peaceful with amazing panoramic views! Highly recommend.

had a great stay, unfortunately had to cut the holiday short but wouldn't hesitate to return if we go back to the highlands in the future. We really enjoyed the clubhouse for our weeks stay , it was the perfect retreat after a lot of driving about the area is beautiful and the clubhouse has all the amenities you would need , beds are comfy and the living area is cosy , we had a lovely break

We had a wonderful week at the Clubhouse. It was a home from home with everything we needed for a comfortable stay with two children. The welcome bottle of wine and pint of milk was a great touch after a long journey. Everything was clean and the communication from Mags was great.
