Located in thriving Pitlochry, surrounded by a pretty enclosed garden, this holiday home has plenty to do on its doorstep. The town centre is less than half a mile's walk away, where there are lots of cafes, pubs and shops to try out, and you can even walk across the iron suspension bridge to Port na Craig, just over half a mile away. It's well worth a visit to the Pitlochry Dam Visitor Centre (1 mile), home to the famous Salmon Ladder, and nearby Faskally Forest (2 miles) offers a true escape from busy life among diverse wildlife and woodland trails. Blair Castle (8.5 miles) is also not far away and will entertain kids as well as grown-ups.

Due to its location with neighbours nearby, this property is perfect for quiet family reunions but is not suitable for parties or guests wishing to entertain.

Inside the property, a bright contemporary decor with the perfect mix of traditional furnishings welcomes you. The large living room has stylish and comfy sofas to sink into in front of the TV and fire, or you can curl up with a book on the window seat looking out to the garden. The light and airy kitchen and dining area is a fantastic social space; enjoy your evening meal at the dining table next to the fire or eat breakfast in the additional table in the kitchen. There's plenty of worktop space so everyone can get involved in cooking up a storm! Whether you're cooking a gourmet meal or fixing yourself a snack, you'll find everything you need. There's also a utility and drying room on the ground floor, so there's no problem if you need to wash muddy clothes after a day out. Head up the stairs with its intricate bannister up to the first floor where you'll find three peaceful bedrooms; all can be made up as a twin or a king-size zip-and-link, and they all have characterful furnishings such as ornate dressing tables and drawers. Two of the rooms have handy en-suites, while the third bedroom benefits from the family bathroom. Pop up to the second floor where a tranquil twin bedroom and a further king-size zip-and-link bedroom await you; snuggle in and get a great night's sleep before waking up refreshed and ready for the day. There's a shower room with WC on this level too.

Head out to the wonderful enclosed garden where there's furniture available for you to sit and relax with an al fresco drink, admiring the many wildflowers and established shrubs that are dotted around.

We had a fantastic family get together for a week at this lovely house. It had everything we needed. Plenty bedrooms, bathrooms, hot water and space for our grandchildren to enjoy. Town centre is just a couple of minutes walk with lots of cafes, restaurants and wee shops. I would definitely recommend this house for a stay in Pitlochry.

Perfect stay and house for our family of 10. The flexibility in the bedding allowed teenagers to share a twin room. Cleanliness, room size, facilities all outstanding. Great communication with host. Perfect location for day trips and walks into town and around. No complaints at all. Some things to note-follow the posted recycling schedule, with glaRead moress drop off on the main road; theres a water condenser tank in the dryer that we werent familiar with; and dont turn off the red-lit plugs! We stayed for three nights at the property with 6 adults, 2 four year olds and one baby. The house is immediately welcoming and cosy and very practical for large groups. It was spotlessly clean and very warm which was much appreciated for the last weekend of November. The main street, restaurants, pubs, and shops of Pitlochry are only 10 minutes waRead morelk away. Parking on the driveway is tight for two large cars and there is on road parking for one car. We would love to return again someday. Hide
