Wildhouse Farm is a very spacious and attractive property. The kitchen is well equipped and there were some very nice goodies left for us to enjoy. All the beds were comfortable. We stayed during the heatwave when the temperature was over 30 for several days. Luckily the beautiful garden had plenty of shade from large trees and the lounge remained Read morea cool room to retreat to. Dog owners should note that the garden is not enclosed or private. Customers (mostly children) would often wander in from the Italian restaurant next door. This was not a problem for us as our dog is very calm, friendly and not inclined to wander although we did find him once on the restaurant terrace eyeing up someone's steak! The surrounding countryside is stunning and there are plenty of places worth visiting nearby. We particularly enjoyed walks along the canal towpath. We would be very happy to stay here again. Hide

Really lovely cottage, beautiful rooms and garden and very comfortable stay. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the freedom to roam in the garden, though it isnt secure so you do need to keep an eye on them. Located in a beautiful area and it was a bonus being so close to Hollingworth Lake. We will hopefully be back again!

Lovely location with views across the valley. Very well equipped for a family stay. The restaurant next door was excellent and we enjoyed a family meal in there. The beds were very comfortable.

A lovely weekend away with the family for my husbands birthday. The house was always warm and clean throughout. There are a number of walking and cycle routes nearby and the added bonus of being dog friendly made our weekend. We would certainly stay here again.

We loved our stay. The farm house is very spacious with the most beautiful garden and super comfy beds. A visit to the Italian restaurant next door is a must! Food was lovely! We will most definitely be returning. The only issue we had was some customers from the restaurant wondering into our garden. This caught the eye of our puppy and had us runnRead moreing to retrieve her from greeting all the guests at the restaurant. Hide
