Offering bright and stylish accommodation for up to six guests, this fantastic getaway sits in a peaceful spot close to the heart of Pitlochry. This splendid Victorian town is perfect for discovering the scenic beauty of Perthshire, with a wealth of independent shops, fantastic restaurants, and friendly pubs. Pitlochry is also home to the renowned Pitlochry Festival Theatre, the vibrant Blair Athol Distillery, and the ruins of the 14th-century Black Castle. Just half a mile from the property, the fascinating Pitlochry Dam Visitor Centre is known for its fish ladder, which is designed to help salmon travel upstream. In the surrounding area, the Queen’s View Visitor Centre (6.5 miles) lies at the eastern end of the stunning Loch Tummel. Other nearby landmarks and attractions include Blair Castle and Gardens, Ben Vrackie, Faskally Forest, and the Pass of Killiecrankie (all within 12 miles).

Stepping inside this bright and colourful retreat, the welcoming hallway has space for storing boots and coats before you head through to the comfortable ground-floor lounge with a Smart TV and ample seating. Continuing through the property, the delightful sunroom/diner makes a wonderful space for enjoying a celebratory meal together, which you can rustle up in the fully equipped kitchen. Additional equipment, including an extra freezer, can be found in the convenient utility room. The ground floor also has an elegant family bathroom, as well as a generous super-king-size bedroom with a Smart TV and seating area. Upstairs, the first floor offers a light and spacious second lounge with a Smart TV and comfortable furniture, providing plenty of space for the group to spread out. Please note that the upper floor has low, sloping ceilings, with large skylights allowing natural light to stream in.

Heading outside, the enclosed patio features a charming summer house with seating, providing a relaxing spot for spending a quiet afternoon, whatever the weather. The patio also has a charcoal BBQ and garden furniture, perfect for dining alfresco together. Private off-road parking is available for three cars directly in front of the property.

The cottage was exceptional. It is a fantastic location to all local attractions. The property has been finished to a very high standard, spotlessly clean. Excellent off, safe free off street parking. This is a hidden gem, I will definitely book again. The host was extremely helpful, even offered a free early check in. We stayed at The Nook for one night ahead of a cycling event in Pitlochry and it was absolutely ideal for our group of six. The cottage was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and get organised before the event. We parked three cars outside with no issues, and the outdoor space was especially usefuRead morel for bikes and equipment. The location was perfect within easy walking distance of the town centre. Communication from the owner was excellent and everything was straightforward from arrival to departure. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend The Nook to anyone visiting Pitlochry.
