This was our 3rd stay at Daisy Cottage, and really felt like 'home from home'. We love the river views from the lounge and the hillside garden views from the kitchen. Comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. Polruan is wonderful, amazing views, quaint lanes and cottages, busy river, woodland walks, sea views, nearby beaches, fascinating ship yard, two shoRead moreps, cafe, pubs, and post office. But it is very steep and lots of steps everywhere. So much to explore nearby, on foot, by boat, bus or car. Hide

A comfortable, cosy and charming cottage in the heart of Polruan. The view from the living room is spectacular and the property had everything we needed for a couple and our dog.

On 3 levels, the lounge on the top floor has got the most amazing views across the harbour and bay, to Fowey. Especially as the sun goes down. All you need to cook with in the kitchen, bed nice and comfortable, and well appointed bathroom on the ground floor. Great location, comfy cottage. Grubby on arrival with unusable kitchen equipment. This was quickly rectified although it spoiled the start of our holiday.

I booked Daisy Cottage again for this visit as I loved it the first time I stayed here. It's well equipped, great location close to the harbour, and great value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and I'm sure I'l be back.

Lovely place to stay, in a comfortable property. Wonderful views and hilltop walks, with a short ferry ride across the harbour/river to Fowey. If you have the space in your car take a folding camping trolley for unloading and loading from the car park but you can get down on the quay, although the lanes are very narrow. Go enjoy.
