Lovely, large home that easily accommodated the 12 of us and 2 dogs catching up on a family weekend. The hot tub was clean and warm as was the house throughout. The cows paid us many visits over the weekend and were very friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend

We had the best weekend at the Udford House. All the facilities were 10/10. We had great time in the hot tub looking into the beautiful countryside views and enjoying privacy and secluded location. We had some day guests and even with them in the house the place didn't feel overcrowded. Boiler issue was addressed so promptly and professionally thatRead more we were amazed. Boys enjoyed additional activity- clay pigeon shooting. We will cherish memories from this weekend forever. Hide

10 of us stayed for a long weekend for my 50th birthday celebration . The whole place was amazing. Facilities were spot on, plenty of room and the hot tub made it. There were plenty of lovely walks in the surrounding area and Penrith and Pooley bridge were easy to get to for a little trip out. Absolutely perfect

My family and I booked the property to celebrate my mum's 70th birthday. This property has the potential to be amazing but there are a few areas that let it down. The windows are thick with cobwebs and flies were a real nusence. The outside of the property looks unloved and the garden furniture, shabby and uncomfortable. If you stay here you are noRead moret allowed to access any of the other paths other than the one that leads to the property, including the one to the riverWe got told off several times! Hide

Udford House was the perfect location for our 'all ages' celebrations for 40th and 70th birthdays. We all enjoyed the excellent facilities and views, the boules pitch and hot tub were particularly popular. A wonderful stay - the houses delightfully idiosyncratic layout meant our autistic son had the space and quiet he needed without feeling overwhelmed, and the rest of the family had the space to do what they wanted too. Being so close to nature too was delightful, and the one small issue we had - a very poorly deer lying in the road in front of the Read moregate - was dealt with sensitively and incredibly swiftly by the estate team. Perfect for what we wanted and the quality of the house and the decor were great. We asked for a few extras and all were accommodated with zero issue. Great communication with the owners - would stay here again

Large property that suited the needs of our party. Good communal space with large dining table. Nice large hot tub but unfortunately was cold on arrival.
