The pretty village of Phillack is within 1 mile of the breathtaking Hayle Beach, which becomes the Mexico Towans Beach. Here you’ll find a pub, restaurant and shop so you won't be short of things to explore from your doorstep. The South West Coast Path follows a scenic route across cliffs to Godrevy Point so explore here or take a stroll down to the surf school in Hayle and enjoy the long stretch of beach, recently voted the best beach in the UK by The Times. Head to the nearby village of St Ives, just 9 miles away with beautiful galleries, restaurants, beaches and picturesque harbour which is easily accessible by a pretty coastal railway or bus route if you'd prefer not to take the car. Take the children to Paradise Park just 2 miles away, and visit St Michaels Mount in Marazion, only 7 miles away.

Upon arrival, step into the entrance hall and hang up your outerwear. Head through into the open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner. This property really has wonderful social living spaces for you to enjoy with your loved ones. The lounge has a wood burner (first basket of logs provided) so cosy up on the sofa whilst the fire crackles in the background. Watch your favourite film on the Smart TV. The dining area has plenty of seating for everyone so gather around and play a board game or plan the next day's adventure. Open up the bi-fold doors and bring the outside in. The newly fitted kitchen is equipped with everything you'll need including an induction oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee machine, wine fridge, microwave and there's also a breakfast bar. You'll find one super king-size bedroom (zip and link bed), one king size and a third bedroom with a single bed that pulls out for extra sleeping space if required. There is a stylish family bathroom which has a freestanding roll-top bath with shower attachment, a separate shower and a WC.

Open up the bi-fold doors and extend the celebration onto the patio and lawn. With an outlook directly onto fields, you'll really be able to unwind and relax here. There are several seating areas including bistro seating for morning coffee, a sun lounger - perfect for having a lazy day - and outdoor seating so you can dine alfresco with the BBQ on the go. There is driveway parking for two cars and an electric car charging point.

Excellent location, 15mins from St Ives, Penzance and St Michael's Mount. Sand dunes and lovely walks to an amazing beach right on the door step. Cottage was clean, well equipped and cosy. Slight issue with fields at back, having to listen to bird scarer go off all day, but often out for most of day. Had an issue with hot water which unfortunaRead moretely went unresolved until the final day. If that hadn't have happened would have very little negative things to say. Hide

Really nice holiday home and location is perfect. Unfortunately we found it wasnt very clean on our arrival but hopefully this will be resolved for future. On arrival we found the cottage spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Short walk over the sand dunes to the stunning beach. Few minutes walk to the Bucket of Blood where we had a superb meal, also ate at Gilberts Beach Bar, highly recommend there too. Some part of the beach has dog restrictions during the summer, not allowed on 10-6 but plenty oRead moref great dogs walks around, particularly enjoyed Godrevy, lovely walk along cliffs and we saw seals! Excellent location for the beaches and dog walking. The bungalow was well equiped and in lovely quite area, Plenty of local pubs to choose from, although the Bucket of Blood had some Kitchen Technical issues so didnt dine there, which was as shame as this was within walking distance from the bungalow. Sanders Fish and chips a must!

The cottage is very clean and well equipped and the beautiful beach is only a short walk over the dunes. The bed was also very comfortable. The area is very peaceful and, whilst we didnt eat at the local pub, it was very welcoming. We enjoyed visiting many places and walking on the coast.

What a lovely week we had over Christmas and very lucky with the weather. Must say the cottage is a real home from home and the decorations for Christmas was fantastic and it felt very special.
