This is a great place to stay, we would highly recommend it, and congratulate the owners on providing such a lovely place to stay. Those with mobility issues, and others can just relax in the quiet space that this provides, take a walk round the ponds, and feel like you are in the countryside without the worry of not being far from the accommodation. The property is all on one level and access to the patio area is easy with a slight lip to get over but wheelchair ramps are provided if required. Be aware the doble beds and toilets are quite low, but we found the shower and bathing areas brilliant spaces. Really clean and tidy and the owners live nearby should there be any issues. There is no shop or pub in the direct location, so a car is ideal when staying in this property. There is a lovely well priced restaurant nearby. Chester is within easy reach as are other tourist attractions. We would highly recommend this property, a peaceful and comfy place to rest and relax. Hide

Pond Cottage was perfect for our group of three couples who wanted to visit Chester and the Wirral and to spend relaxing time together. The accommodation was high quality. We all commented on how comfortable the beds were. The kitchen was pretty well equipped and the seating was comfortable. This is one of the worse cottages that we have stayed in and not worth the money in its present condition. One shower did not work, cooker hood and light did not work, lighting in cabinets over basins did not work, dining table veneer badly delaminating and dangerous with chairs tatty. Pond Cottage is greeted by moss on the paviours. Overgrown plants with a pile of leaves in a corner. The front door and window frames had cracked and peeling paint. Cottage needs a spring clean. The damp proof course for coping stones on the roof at the rear was loose. The cottage and its approach through the adjacent homes in Court Farm were unsigRead morehtly, scruffy and wanting maintenance.
