Brixham is a year-round resort with a vibrant summer atmosphere and a tranquil slower pace in winter. Head to the marina, where you can wander the shops and independent seafood restaurants, watch the fishing boats sail in and out of the working harbour or try your luck crabbing! While there, be sure to check out the life-size replica of Sir Francis Drake’s ship The Golden Hind. You might like to book a stay to coincide with the Bay of Lights Illumination Trail (November to January), or catch Brixham’s Lanterns, Lights and ‘Luminations festival in November.
