The cottage is positioned in a village just 2 miles from the ever-popular resort town of Perranporth where there is a pub directly on the waterfront. The stunning beach is popular with tourists and locals alike; immerse yourself in the 3-mile-long stretch of golden sands. For walkers, escape to the South West Coast Path and enjoy walks to the east towards Newquay (7 miles), and west towards Gwithian and Hayle (17 miles). For those ever-important shopping trips, try the cathedral city of Truro (8 miles) and discover its many independent boutique stores and a plethora of cafes, restaurants, and bars.

Upon arrival, enter the hallway and hang up your outerwear. To the right, you'll find the cosy lounge with seating for all on comfy sofas and a bean bag. Kick back and watch the Smart TV with the open fire crackling in the background. From the hallway, you'll find a beautifully styled king-size bedroom to the front and a snug room with a sofa, a Smart TV, and a selection of books and games to the rear of the property. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC. From the hallway, you'll also find the contemporary kitchen/diner, equipped with everything you'll need for your holiday including an electric oven and gas hob, fridge, dishwasher, and coffee machine, perfect to create a special meal for all the family. The dining area has seating for all, a wood burner, and windows to three sides overlooking the mature and private garden. The utility has a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and microwave. Stairs rise to the first floor where you'll find a twin bedroom to the rear with views across neighbouring fields and a generous king-size bedroom to the front with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, and en-suite shower room with shower and WC.

From the snug and dining area, doors lead onto the enclosed and private rear garden. There's a variety of mature shrubs, plants, and herbs in the borders, as well as decking, a lawn, and a patio with picnic table seating and charcoal BBQ to dine alfresco of an evening. There is driveway parking for three cars.

The beds and linens were clean & the floor had been mopped on arrival, but overall it needs a deep clean. Perfect central location for local beaches & some great local eateries - we chose to eat out every night because the appliances were greasy & not clean.

A spacious cottage that was a great base for two adults and two children (including one teenager). Plenty of clean bedding and towels (even tea towels) provided. Facilities were more than adequate. Plenty of cooking utensils and laundry equipment. There is even a games room for full of entertainment (pool table, books, games). Lovely garden with ouRead moretside seating and table. Near to bus stop with a regular bus service to Perranporth. Hide

Lovely house in the village of Rose. 3 good sized bedrooms with a lovely kitchen diner. A nice back garden to sit out in and plenty of room for 2 cars to park on the drive. Bus 87 which runs from Truro to Newquay via Perranporth was really useful, catching it at Rose Crossroads and saves walking up the steep hill from Perranporth
