Overall we all enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Just for a heads up and for the benefit of people looking to book this cottage, access is not great at the front for anyone who is elderly and not too mobile. The step up to the front door is quite high. There are also steep steps leading up to the garden which isnt mentioned in the description anRead mored again not suitable for anyone who is elderly and not very mobile. If you are taking your dog with you please be aware that there is shared access to the rear and the path outside the back door leads round to the front of the property and your dog can get out and round to the road. The garden is enclosed when you get up to it but the access to it is not. It is a lovely location and the view from the top bedroom is fabulous. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are lovely and comfy. Again for info both the bathrooms are located next to each other on the first floor so if youre staying on the top floor you have to come up and down fairly steep stairs to access them which is not in the description of this cottage. Its really close to the pub which has a large beer garden. Hope this helps you if youre looking to book. Hide

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage on the whole. It was well equipped and in a lovely location. However it stated that the garden was dog/child friendly and this is definitely not the case. To reach the gardens you had to go up a flight of steep steps which would be unsafe for small children, elderly or less mobile people. The gardens themsRead moreelves apart from the top level one which had just recently been fenced in ready for our visit are completely open and not secure for dogs or young children at all. In addition there is a communal alley way outside the back door and the first time we let our dog out he ran off down it and it is completely open at the end and he ran off and found his way around to the front and onto the road outside. The description of the property also does not mention the steepness of the stairs up to the second floor bedroom with just a rope handrail. Again this is not suitable or safe for young people or older people or anyone with mobility difficulties especially if they need to access the bathroom which is downstairs. There is a lovely pub just a short walk away which serves good pub meals and a local National Trust property five minutes walk away that has ev charging which we found useful. After saying all this we did enjoy our stay apart from the weather which nobody can predict. Hide

We found the cottage exceptionally clean, well appointed and comfortable, and really appreciated the pre-visit call, recommendations and special welcome pack. The garden is particularly lovely. We typically have two cottage holidays a year with a range of providers, and this cottage and the overall experience was a stand-out.

The property does not have 2 en suite bathrooms infact 1 is on a different floor up steep stairs. The garden is not enclosed and was unsuitable for young children and a dog. We had to leave early because we couldnt manage the stairs during the night. We will be taking action against the company and owner

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. On arrival it was lovely to have fresh bread, butter, milk, water and some delicious cakes. Parking was not an issue as there is a free car park a few minutes walk away. Pub across the road was good for bar food and we enjoyed a walk to Broadway and Broadway tower with our dogs.
