What an amazing quiet place! The red deer were grazing just in front of the window. The house is pretty far away from stores and other highlights. If you dont mind this, than this is a very special place to stay! The house has a very complete inventory with kitchen supplies, a washing machine and smart tv.

Had an amazing week at culrain. Very well equipped , couldn't fault it. Spent hours sitting outside watching the deer and hares. Highly recommend a visit to culloden ( defo join the NTS first), makes it much cheaper ! Also the highland wildlife park was a brilliant day out. Lovely to return to the cottage after a full day . Will definitely return.

Lovely, cosy, well-equipped and spacious cottage. Has a very homely feel. The location is absolutely stunning, beautiful views, deer directly around the house everyday, lots of opportunities for walking in the area.

Remote and a bit of a drive to get to. However, if peace and quiet is what you're after, enveloped in the Scottish hills, surrounded by deer and sheep outside your doorstep, then this is the place. Other houses not too far away so not totally alone. Clean, very comfortable, fully equipped, one of the nicest cottages we've ever stayed in.
