The cottage is in a very good position being in close proximity to supermarkets and major roads yet being in the countryside with excellent views across the surrounding farmland. It was very easy to get to all the places we visited with the furthest (Gloucester cathedral) being only 35 minutes away and with the prettiest Cotswold villages being veRead morery near but without the mass tourism of the villages to the east. Laverok Cottage is situated on a hilltop, giving excellent views of the surrounding countryside, and has its own allocated covered parking bay. The accommodation is spacious and clean, and very well equipped. Even though there was a lot of wet and windy weather during our stay, the cottage provided warm and comfortable shelter. On the nicer days, iRead moret was an excellent central point for visits to Cheltenham, Gloucester, Cirencester, Tewkesbury, Painswick and Stroud. Hide

The cottage was well equipped and had everything that we needed for our few days in the Cotswolds. It is ideally situated to explore many of the local villages and towns, and for those who were more energetic than us, lot's of local walks. The issue that we encountered with the bathroom was very quickly sorted and rectified. Mrs Angus was very warmRead more and welcoming and we would definitely recommend it as a lovely place to stay.
