Situated in a private village location, the cottage has a beautifully decorated interior with many artworks and objects that create a special atmosphere. The cottage is very tastefully and comfortably decorated and furnished and is in a very quiet and peaceful location so ideal for a complete chill which is what I used it for. But it is tiny- really only suitable for one or two people in my opinion. You need to be aware that the staircases up to the bedrooms and down to the kitchen and bathroom are Read morevery steep. The owner was probably the most helpful of all the cottages I have stayed in so far. Hide

It was great to stay at Myrtle Cottage for a week! The house was clean when we arrived and the location is perfect, very quiet and calm. The owner communicated clearly how to reach the cottage before arriving, and was always available to answer any questions during the stay. Just beware that the ceilings are quite low, so I (1.80 cm) sometimes struRead moreggled to stand upright . All in all I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to visit the Cotswolds! Hide

We had a lovely week and the cottage was extremely charming with beautiful furnishings. The light touches of Christmas ferns & paper chains were also appreciated. We would love to revisit during the summer months to benefit from the garden area.
