Enjoy a movie on the Smart TV or simply curl up in front of the wood burner with a good book. The lounge is completed with a bench-style dining table. Head upstairs via the steep cottage-style staircase where the charm continues. There are two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one with a single, which is ideal for a couple looking for a romantic getaway or friends exploring the region together. The bathroom is downstairs, just off the lounge and has an electric shower which is over the bath.

Such a lovely place to stay near the Cotswolds! Its a beautiful village, with a lovely local pub nearby. Theres plenty to do in the surroundings. The cottage was small, but very comfortable and has everything you might need. Truely had a lovely week and would definitely return in the future.

Clean and nicely presented but not recommended for winter visits. There was a very small heater downstairs and a bigger one upstairs which we got swapped around as downstairs was very cold. It did improve living room but the kitchen was freezing. We had to put the oven on to warm it up. The sofa on a wooden frame was very hard and the only seating Read morein the cottage. We suggested more comfortable sofa/armchairs. The beds were comfortable though. Steep stairs narrow treads. Negotiated backwards. Hide

Hooky Cottage was the perfect setting for our Honeymoon in the Cotswolds. It provided the romance and cosiness we were looking for. Hook Norton is a lovely village and the food at The Sun was excellent.
