This light and airy property has great harbour views and is conveniently located just a short walk from the Fowey harbour and town centre, shops, inns and quays. It is set in an elevated position and facing south-west enjoys the sun throughout the day. The open plan living room has four dual aspect windows giving exceptional light and wide harbour views across the rooftops. The pleasant courtyard is a great benefit of a raised patio giving a further vantage point for watching the passing ships and boats.

We loved staying in The Studio. It is modern and well equipped and is in a very quiet spot, but with a very short walk into the heart of Fowey. It is also very warm, we had to turn the heating off, so no worries about being cosy! We had issues with the three kitchen lights not working so the kitchen area was very dark, but a call to the agents aRead morend they sent somebody to fix the issue straight away. He had to remove one of the lights and replace the wiring, but it fixed it. The views are fabulous and we enjoyed watching the river. The only thing I would say is that the sofas need replacing. Although they look stylish, they are very uncomfortable, the cushions have no 'give' in them and we could feel the frame underneath while sitting. Be aware that there are a couple of very big steps up to the front door (it could have done with three 'shallower' steps rather than two big steps), so something to bear in mind if you aren't good with steps. Overall we loved staying here and would certainly consider booking it in the future if out of season (it is very tricky to find a car parking space at Caffa Mill at other times of year and this would put us off booking it in the spring/summer months. Unavoidable in Fowey but something to think about). Hide

A very well located cottage affording great views over the estuary. The property itself needs some maintenance to the front door, garden steps, decking and sun beds, all of which have seen better days. Being centrally located all of the town facilities are easily accessible. Parking is an issue with the best option to use the long term ones near thRead moree ferry, which also provides a much better access to the town than trying to drive through the town centre, especially when arriving on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Shame the promised bbq was missing given we had a week of unbroken sunshine. Overall we would recommend the property but it needs a bit of work to address its shortcomings. Hide

A great location in Fowey. Very central with amazing views from the living space. 10 minute walk from the nearest car park. Property needs some money spending on it, especially in the garden. Beds very soft, had bad backs by the end of the week. Lots to do in and around Fowey - great walks and shops in town to explore. Only used the car once. TableRead more tennis table great fun. Hide

I would stress the car parking issues in Fowey. We loved the area but everywhere you looked there were steep hills and very limited car parking close to the property.

The property is light and airy and in a good location being close to amenities and a leisurely walk to Readymoney cove. It is well equipped and comfortable with the added bonus of a garden complete with tennis table table!
