For a holiday of sweeping sea views, legendary folklore and wild Cornish cliffs, stay at this stylish coastal apartment in Tintagel. The two-bedroom home is ideal for fresh-air-loving couples, small families or friends, located on the edge of the dramatic National Landscape coastline with uninterrupted views towards Tintagel Castle – long associated with the legend of King Arthur. Gaze down at Merlin’s Cave from the clifftop viewpoint (0.5 miles) or wander down to the sandy beach (0.5 miles) framed by rugged cliffs. For walkers, the coast path (0.5 miles) links spectacular spots including Glebe Cliff (0.5 miles) and the wider Cornish coastline. Keen explorers can head further along to Bossiney Cove (1.5 miles) or Trebarwith Beach (2 miles), while the nearby harbour village of Boscastle (4 miles) has atmospheric streets to wander and the fascinating Museum of Witchcraft and Magic (4.5 miles) offering an intriguing glimpse into the area’s mythical past.

Step inside the ground-floor apartment and you’ll find a modern open-plan living space designed for comfort and style, with large windows framing the impressive view towards Camelot Castle. Gorgeous location, right on the cliffs. Ideal location for starting hikes, or just a quick visit into Tintagel. Cleanliness was very good, apart from the crummy sofa when we arrived. Luckily there's a hoover available, so we could sort that out ourselves. Kitchen was very well equipped, one of the best self-catering kitchens we've seen. Water pressRead moreure on the showers also fantastic. The double bed was comfortable, but ashame that the springs of the bed could be heard with any movement in the bed. It would wake us up at night unfortunately. WiFi a little bit spotty in places, but nothing of real bother. Front door of the complex itself a bit awkward to open with the key. We never managed to get a hang of it and would be pure luck to successfully open it. Maybe some instructions for guests in future, to prevent a little bit of panic? All in all, would definitely recommend this place. One of the better self-catering properties available. Hide
