Spend the day at the amusements and on the shores of Skegness Beach (12.5 miles) or venture up the coast to Ingoldmells to enjoy long salty air walks on the beach (16 miles). For hiking and walking, the Lincolnshire Wolds are 14 miles away.

Upon entering this unique windmill holiday home via some steps, you will be greeted by the whitewashed kitchen, where characterful beams sit overhead, and modern appliances make cooking a stress-free experience, including an electric oven, hob, and washer/dryer. Carry plates through to the lounge/diner and enjoy tucking in around the upcycled table. The sofa beckons weary travellers, as does the Smart TV. The family bathroom with a shower over the bath, and a WC is next. The stairs are steep, but the views on the first floor are so worth it. Discover one of the double bedrooms with stylish furnishings, a wardrobe, and an airy ambience. Up on the second floor, there is another double bedroom with charming wooden features and a chest of drawers for your belongings. Go up to the third floor and find a cosy reading nook with comfy chairs and wraparound bookshelves, while on the fourth floor, there is a vast viewing window with shutter doors and incredible panoramas of the sea to enjoy from the comfy seating.

If you can tear yourself away from the quirky interiors, then the enclosed garden is the perfect place to unwind. Bubble away in the hot tub while taking in your spectacular countryside views. There is private parking for two cars.

A really lovely cottage ( windmill !) that is as good as it looks in the photos. Very nicely furnished with added quirkiness. A modern kitchen with everything youd need. The stairs, understandably, would not suit small children or less able adults. Lovely hot tub with a perfect view of the windmill. Very quiet and peaceful location surrounded by faRead morerm land with a view over the Wash from the top observation deck. Hide

We had a lovely week staying at the converted windmill. Its an intersting/querky property in the fens, very nicely converted and kitted out. The Wash is in easy reach walking. Good views from the top floor lookout. Lots of interseting towns and villages within the area/not too far away. Highly recommend for a quiet relaxing week. You have to be carRead moreeful on the stairs, but once you get the hang of them its fine. Hide
