Nestled within Marhamchurch, a charming village located just 1.5 miles to the Southeast of Bude and 2.5 miles from the stunning Widemouth Bay, ensures that visitors are always within easy reach of the enchanting North Cornwall coastline, with its captivating golden sands and fresh turquoise waters. The adventurers amongst you can also embark on the rugged South West Coast Path, tracing the picturesque route all the way into Bude (2 miles), renowned for its paradise-like setting for surfers, boasting three magnificent sandy beaches, a splendid selection of local shops, and delightful dining options. Stepping into this beautifully renovated coastal home you will soon notice the emphasis on stylish features adjoined with original exposed beams and brickwork. Underfloor heating runs through the lower floor where you will find the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, along with an additional snug, utility, downstairs bedroom and downstairs shower room. Both living areas provide two plush sofas and Smart TV’s, whilst the snug room has the added luxury of a warming wood burner, perfect to relax with the sound of crackling wood after a day of adventures across Cornwall and Devon. The kitchen space is incredibly well equipped alongside the downstairs utility, providing everything you need for a stress-free stay, whilst there is plenty of dining space for all on both the main dining table and additional breakfast table. Completing the lower floor is the downstairs bedroom, fitted with a super-king zip-and-link bed, which can be split into two singles upon request, along with a Smart TV and plenty of clothing space. Making your way up the stairway under the glistening chandelier will bring you to the three remaining bedrooms. The master bedroom is fitted with a king-size bed, Smart TV and accompanying en-suite shower room, the second with a double bed and Smart TV whilst the final bedroom acts well as a children’s room, with a king-size bed which can be split into two children sized single beds upon request. Completing the home is the light family bathroom, with a bath, separate waterfall shower and WC.

You can make your way to the rear enclosed garden via the private driveway, the sliding doors from the living space or the utility area. The dual-level space consists of a patio, outdoor seating and a gas BBQ, alongside the incredibly spacious lawn, perfect for children’s games and peace of mind with four-pawed friends.

Spacious and comfortable holiday home ideal in good location for Bude and surrounding area. Excellent beaches within 10 minute drive. Owners easily contactable, friendly and responsive.

Both the house and the location were fantastic. We have been walking the South West Coast Path and the Tamara Way, staying in different houses and locations along the way. We agreed that Leaferne was amongst the best that we have stayed in, if not the best. So many nice touches, the showers were great, nice bedding and plenty of stylish mugs! Fantastic property. Some lovely welcoming touches. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Lovely, spacious and secure garden. We loved the canal walk into Bude and made good use of local pub and cafe.

Fantastic cottage. Incredibly spacious rooms with modern and high quality fixtures and fittings throughout, wonderful large garden ideal for kids, with comfortable furniture on the sun-trap patio, and an easy to use gas barbecue. Set in a lovely friendly village a couple of miles from Bude. Thoroughly recommended.

We absolutely loved the property it was just perfect in size for us so much room, the garden was ideal for my daughter and dog to play in safely and securely. We loved having the one space family room. It was so clean and provided all that we needed. Good location, quiet village which suited us. Close to amenities. Spacious cottage, open plan lounge, diner, kitchen and a big garden great for the dog. Outdoor shower nice touch and useful for all on the very hot days to cool the dog and our feet! Comfy beds. We all really liked the cottage, very well equipped, very clean and very up to date. Lovely garden and furniture, very comfortable. The owners were very helpful and friendly. We would say that it will take 6 adults and two children comfortably. A nice place to stay.

We had such a lovely week visiting again! The house was gorgeous again, the back garden is such a highlight. Perfect location for the beaches and surrounding areas. The town has a lovely pub, scenery and local shop. We can't wait to visit again!

Wonderful property with very helpful owners in a really good location. Very well equipped kitchen, which is important for our group as we love to cook! Good sized garden with a great BBQ for warm evenings and super comfy beds. Would recommend for anyone looking to explore thd area with lots of great beaches close by.

Located in a lovely village, the cottage has been converted to a high standard, plenty of room for a family of 5, has everything you could need (the radiator in the cloakroom, great after soggy walks) and the pooch loved the spacious garden.
