Located within the heart of Camber, guests can walk to the vast expanse of soft golden sands and extensive dunes, which offer some excellent walks, water sports and safe swimming. Hop in the car for a short drive and you’ll find yourself in medieval Rye (3 miles), where historic cobbled streets are lined with galleries, cafes and pubs, bursting with character and old-world charm. Slightly further afield is the seaside town of Hastings (12 miles) with a host of family entertainment in the quaint Old Town. Also within a short drive is an altogether different seaside location, with the shingle beach at Dungeness (9 miles). Famous for its wild beauty and dramatic skies, Dungeness is not just popular with wildlife enthusiasts, but also with photographers and artists.

A warm welcome awaits in this seaside property. On the ground floor of this bright and airy cottage, you will find the day room with a sofa bed and Smart TV, and patio doors that lead out into the garden. During the daytime, this is the perfect space for curling up with a good book and by night, it offers space for an extra guest. Completing the ground floor is a separate WC. Stairs from the hallway lead up to the first floor to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a large comfortable corner sofa surrounding the Smart TV and patio doors that open out to the Juliet balcony where the tops of the nearby sand dunes can be seen. Enjoy preparing family meals in the kitchen, which is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher, before dining at the table with seating for all. Take the stairs to the second floor, where the remaining two bedrooms can be found, a master bedroom with a super king-size bed, an en-suite shower and WC, and a twin bedroom. The family bathroom is light and bright with a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside, the property benefits from a contemporary style garden which has a decked area with outdoor dining furniture, charcoal BBQ and a wooden bench nestled between the relaxed seaside planting. The garden area can be accessed via the side gate by the parking space on the side of the property. Within the garage you will find the washing machine, tumble dryer and additional fridge.

The cottage was well situated only a 2 minute walk from the sand dunes and 3 minutes from the Owl pub. It's a lovely, well equipped cottage with a fully enclosed courtyard garden... Lovely house and great location for the most beautiful sandy beach. Makes a great base for visiting Rye and surroundings, but dont expect too much from Camber itself. We had a great long weekend and found the house very well equipped and comfortable.

We had a wonderful holiday at Dunescape. The cottage is roomy, clean, stylish, and equipped with anything one might need. Lovely equipped home , very close to the beach. We had lovely weather and and enjoyed taking our dog for long beach walks. Rye was lovely with its old world charm, and Hastings was much improved from our last visit. Go up the cliff railway to the country park is a must for the views!
