Also within a short drive is an altogether different seaside location, with the shingle beach at Dungeness (9 miles). Famous for its wild beauty and dramatic skies, Dungeness is not just popular with wildlife enthusiasts, but also with photographers and artists.

On the ground floor of this bright and airy cottage, you will find the day room with a sofa bed and Smart TV, and patio doors that lead out into the garden. During the daytime, this is the perfect space for curling up with a good book and by night, it offers space for an extra guest. Completing the ground floor is a separate WC. Stairs from the hallway lead up to the first floor to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a large comfortable corner sofa surrounding the Smart TV and patio doors that open out to the Juliet balcony where the tops of the nearby sand dunes can be seen. Enjoy preparing family meals in the kitchen, which is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher, before dining at the table with seating for all. Take the stairs to the second floor, where the remaining two bedrooms can be found, a master bedroom with a super king-size bed, an en-suite shower and WC, and a twin bedroom.
