Nestling in Newquay, you will find some of the country's finest beaches, including Fistral, which annually hosts the world-renowned Boardmasters, a short distance from your front door. The town centre is also close by and offers a vast selection of shops, restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes. Visit some of the towns' all-year-round attractions including Newquay Zoo, Waterworld, the Blue Reef Aquarium and Dairyland. Alternatively, head out on the Atlantic Highway and a 3.5-mile drive will take you to Watergate Bay, popular with surfers and kite surfers. Other attractions and places of interest close by including the Lost Gardens of Heligan(20 miles), the Eden Project (22 miles), Port Issac (26 miles) and Padstow(19 miles). A little further afiled is Boscastle (34 miles).

Step inside this period property into the hallway, hang up your coats and walk through the doors which lead to all the living areas. Grab your welcome pack and cosy up in the lounge and watch your favourite film on the Smart TV after a day exploring whilst the children keep themselves entertained in the games room with Smart TV, games console and comfy sofa. Head through to the stunning kitchen/diner, which really is a great social space for all the family. Enjoy a special meal at the dining table with plenty of seating for everyone, cook up brunch in the well-equipped kitchen with smart TV, gas hob, double electric oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave and washing machine. Take your food outside through the patio doors, which open up onto the terrace, and enjoy some al fresco dining. Completing the ground floor is a WC. The back garden is completely decked and enclosed, with a table and seating to al fresco dine with a gas BBQ. Laze on the sun lounger and relax in this suntrap! There’s parking for one average sized family car at the rear of the property and there is a long stay car park in the vicinity.

Cottage was well equipped with everything and more than a family would need for their stay. House was clean, welcoming and in a great location.

This is our second stay at Calmynsy and again it it was wonderful. The house is ideally located in Newquay, is very well stocked, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and may even come back for a third time in the future. Its a real home from home and the perfect location in Newquay just outside of town via short walk (so just far enouRead moregh away from the crowds and noise) but not too far from anything at all. Its a lovely 5 minute walk to Fistral Beach which we love. Hide

Fantastic house from a location point of view. Very near Fistral Beach but also a short walk to the town centre. House is perfect for a family. Very clean and with good equipment and stunning views from the loft room. We really enjoyed our week and would book this again for a future visit to Newquay.

Perfect house for us. Location was great. 10 min walk to beach. 10 min walk into town. Hardly used car. Newquay has something for everyone but the house was lovely to spend time in, garden is a lovely sun trap.
