The most beautiful place we have stayed. Location is just absolutely stunning. Yes the road up to the house is a little hairy but you easily get used to this and it is so worth it when you see that house from across the lake. It is honestly breathtaking. We enjoyed early morning walks around the lake and just sitting in the garden listening and spoRead moretting the wildlife. It was honestly a dream. The house was so comfortable and warm with the fire on and we just didn't want to leave. Waking up to see the view of the lake every morning was the icing on the cake for us. We would 100% stay here again and are already trying to talk others into coming here to stay too! Hide

Absolutely loved staying in the house it had amazing views. Was clean and comfortable would definitely recommend it . The roads are very small we did get stuck because of heavy snow the owners were very helpful would consider this in the winter. Perhaps a four wheel drive vehicle would be better than our vw car. However a perfect holiday!

The cottage is in a unique spot with beautiful walks right from the cottage. The sheep and the wild Welsh mountain ponies are lovely to see so near the cottage. If you want to be in a quiet and inspirational place, this is your place.

Beautiful spot, beautiful and peaceful the only noise was the birds and the welsh ponies having a domestic in the local field, and a nearby stream coursing down to the lake

Nice cottage properly remote to feel isolated but still within a reasonable distance of local amenities. Beautiful location for a get away from life's craziness. Prepared to chill.

Fantastic location with those views and great garden areas for us and the dogs. Lots of walks from the door. Some walks limited due to logging the week we went so keep an eye out for that. Loved the log fire for cosy evenings. Kitchen had everything you need. Some may find it too remote but personally we loved the peace!

Lovely house in an absolutely stunning location. We woke on our first morning to snow, and it was just beautiful. We made good use of the two wood-burners, and really enjoyed our stay.

Great location if you want to get away from everything but still want access to the outside world! Satellite WiFi was brilliant faster than any 5G or Broadband. Loved the log burner and walks from cottage.

Lovely cottage in a fantastic location. Great walking from the doorstep and the local scenery is stunning. You can get a good view of Snowdon from walking a few miles up the path over the hills at the back of the house. I did take a fly rod and spent a couple of hours fishing on the lake but no luck! The road to the cottage is narrow but that didn'Read moret bother us as we spent the whole week walking with our dog. It is relatively easy to walk to Trefriw and Llanwrst from the cottage. Hide
