This traditional stone cottage is located in the stunning Georgian harbour-side village of Charlestown, famously the location for hit TV shows Poldark and Hornblower. This well-preserved village will transport you back to times gone by, as you wander past the tall ships and visit the shipwreck museum. Further afield, The Eden Project is within an easy 10-minute drive and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are just twenty minutes away. For those looking to see more of the coast, the pretty towns of Mevagissey and Fowey are both within easy reach.

This ground floor property is a wonderful blend of both old and new. Many original features have been retained, including the wooden beams, whilst the décor is contemporary and stylish. Accessed via one step up from the entrance the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a great space for relaxing, with its comfortable sofas, Smart TV, and dining table, seating four. The kitchen area is equipped with an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher Tassimo Coffee Machine, and washer/dryer. Chy Marner is a very comfortable and warm property. We have everything we need here including a parking space. We enjoy using the Netflix as we don't have that at home! This was actually our sixth stay here and we plan more for the future.

A well kept cottage, clean & comfortable. Has everything you need, very homely. We really enjoyed our stay. A short walk down to the harbour but uphill on the way back. We love it here and come twice a year, that says it all! It might not the closest property to the harbour but the cottage is very comfy and the private parking bay is a bonus. Be careful when negotiating the steep turn into the car park however - a wide swing is required or you could scratch your car on the side of the first cottage.

An immaculately clean, comfortable and well furnished little cottage. Everything we needed was there. Really enjoyed our stay here. There is a spacious en suite bedroom. The second bedroom is a little tight for space, with no wardrobe available. It is in a great location just a two minute stroll to the Rashleigh Arms pub and a further short stroll Read moredown to the harbour and the Pier Hotel pub/restaurant. Both offer a good atmosphere, good food, but maybe a little expensive. Hide

A return visit for us to this accommodation. Perfectly clean and presentable & comfortable with all necessary mod cons. Great asset having off road parking as Charlestown can get really busy. Lovely eateries in Charlestown and we slowly worked ourselves around including Springtide (very popular so make sure you book ahead) Rashleigh arms & the boatRead more house (another popular venue so booking advised) . We enjoyed our stay in our accommodation and already looking forward to a return trip. Hide
