Those with a sense of adventure can embark on a long, steep climb up Hartside Fell, which forms part of the Coast-to-Coast Cycle Route. The bustling town of Penrith is only 20 miles away and boasts an abundance of history as well as independent shops, bars and restaurants. Pooley Bridge (24 miles) is located on the banks of Ullswater, England’s second largest lake; enjoy a scenic cruise around the lake, hire your own boat or go kayaking or paddle boarding before tucking into some delicious food in one of the local eateries.

This newly renovated townhouse offers a central town location as well as stylish and modern living spaces across three floors. As you enter, you'll be greeted by a contemporary open-plan lounge and dining area. Sink into the comfortable sofas as you watch the Smart TV in front of the cosy electric wood burner effect fire after a busy day exploring. You'll find a spacious dining area where you can enjoy meals and spend quality time with your family or friends. The ground floor also boasts a well-equipped kitchen, whether you're a budding chef or simply enjoy preparing meals, you'll find everything you need in this modern kitchen. The first floor has a king size bedroom and a further double room, offering a cosy and inviting space for relaxation. The family bathroom is on this floor which features a separate shower and bath, perfect for soothing aching muscles and unwinding after a long day exploring. Another set of stairs lead to the second floor where you'll find a further double room with an ottoman bed for extra storage and a twin room, both with high ceilings, creating a sense of openness and tranquillity. Lovely property which was beautifully furnished and well maintained. There was ample space which suited our family perfectly. Loved the pretty village of Alston and enjoyed the walking, of which there was plenty. We would love to come back sometime, especially to the comfortable beds - it was hard to get up! It's a gem of a place.

House was absolutely immaculate and homely. Kitted out with everything you would need. Very brave having white carpets in a holiday let.

We loved Tindal House, it was cosy and we felt at home. The hampers for us and our dog were much appreciated too. The house is well equipped and exceeded expectations. We visited Ashgill Force and Talkin Tarn as well as enjoying a visit to the shops in Alston, the staff were friendly and helpful. We would recommend this property without hesitation.Read more Thanks.
