This luxury property, with stunning waterside views, is located just a stroll to the centre of the charming fishing village of Appledore in North Devon, with its range of unique shops and eateries. This reverse level property offers a fabulous home from home. Families looking to ditch the car for a week can park up and take a walk into Appledore, where there is an array of interesting shops, bistros, pubs and an attractive quayside where guests can enjoy a bit of crabbing or even quay jumping! In the summer season, catch a passenger ferry across the estuary to Instow, where there are many pubs, a superb delicatessen, a yacht club and a sandy estuary beach, perfect for walking dogs. Also, just 2 miles away is the large surfing beach of Westward Ho!, which has typical seaside attractions, a surf academy, tennis courts and the Royal North Devon Golf Club.

This stunning property offers luxurious accommodation with stylish décor and spacious rooms. Entering through the front door, there's an entrance hall with room to store coats and shoes. A small utility room and WC can be found to your right, then through the door you are immediately drawn to the fabulous views from the picture windows and the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Bright and airy with triple aspect giving guests the perfect space in which to relax and unwind, with its sumptuous and comfortable furnishings. The stunning view across is the real attraction, but there are comfortable sofas and a large Smart TV and Sonos soundbar here too, for your entertainment. From the lounge and dining areas sliding doors open to a large, decked balcony offering spectacular panoramic views from Westward Ho! to Saunton Sands where guests can enjoy al fresco meals at the dining table or a BBQ with a drink whilst admiring the views. The inside dining has plenty of space for everyone and in the contemporary kitchen area you'll find everything you need to cater for yourselves, including a breakfast bar, wine fridge and a Vertuo Pop Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother. All the property's three stylish bedrooms can be found on the lower floor, and downstairs the first bedroom has a super-king-size bed, Smart TV and Sonos One smart speaker with Apple Air play and benefits from its own en-suite shower room with WC. The second bedroom has a king-size-bed and Smart TV and lastly, a room with a twin zip-and-link (which can be made into a super-king-size bed on request) also has a Smart TV. Completing the accommodation is the main bathroom which has a shower over the bath and WC.

To the rear of the property, accessed either through patio doors from the two double bedrooms or externally via the side gate, is a sunny and spacious patio area with garden furniture and your own private hot tub from which guests can enjoy a drink whilst unwinding after a great day. Beyond this area is a generously sized lawn, which is a great space for allowing children to burn off some energy with the selection of garden games provided or to indulge in a spot of sunbathing. There's also a shed for storing bikes, wetsuits, surfboards and sandy boots.

Great property in a fabulous location. Claire the property manager answered pre arrival questions promptly and when we had an issue with the BBQ, it was sorted very quickly. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. Location is fabulous.

Such a lovely holiday home and location. The 6 of us and 2 dogs had a fabulous time. Great property with an all you need contents and an amazing view. Appledore is a very friendly dog friendly place and lots of great beaches for them. We definitely hope to return at sometime and stay here.

Excellent property in a great location, easy walking distance to amenities in appledore, the sunsets and views are stunning from the balcony. The only negative for us is the lack of privacy in the garden from the road and footpath adjacent to the property, particularly whilst using the hot tub. Amazing house in a great location. You can easily walk into Appledore, and if you fancy a slightly longer stroll, Westward Ho! is also within walking distance. The house itself is warm and homely, with everything you could possibly need, and it was spotlessly clean. My dog and kids absolutely loved staying here we all had a wonderful break. The view from the property is one of the best we have found in Appledore and the design of the house adds to this value. Appledore has many places to eat - just a short walk away - all dog friendly.

A well appointed new house set in a quiet close A short walk from Appledore . For good walks we drove to the headland opposite where the beach is lovely and virtually empty. A good stroll to Westwood Ho and the breakers there are great for body boarding and kite surfing

Lovely property and very well maintained, had everything we needed for the week and the quality was excellent. Loved the little touches like plugs with chargers and top quality sound bars. An exceptionally comfortable property, well equipped throughout. Views from the balcony were beautiful & great sunsets too. Appledore is a delightful town, 10 minute walk from property with great pubs & very dog friendly. Northam Burrows is right on the doorstep amazing walks & views. Wonderful holiday property. Superb views and location on coastal path and convenient walk into Appledore. Excellent communication pre and on arrival. Very generous welcome package for humans and dog. This property is truly stunning along with the magnificent views. It is a stones throw from Appledore which is a lovely walk especially along Irsha Street. Would thoroughly recommend it and will definitely return ourselves. It is definitely the best holiday home we have had the pleasure of visiting. 11 out of 10!!

A fantastic home, spacious, clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen and even some games in the living room. Garden is perfect for having dogs as its completely enclosed. Great location too. This is the second year running we have stayed at Sunset Bay and would highly recommend to others. The property is immaculately clean and very well equipped with some lovely welcome touches. We particularly enjoyed the scones, jam, clotted cream, strawberries and prosecco! Owners are very helpful if you need anything. A spotless house where every need has been thought of inside. The location is great - walkable to Appledore for dinner etc and easy access to lovely walks along the coastline. Views also excellent. Only minor niggle is the patio needed a clean up and dog washing facilities are limited to a cold hosepipe. Would certainly return!
