There are lots of walks around the area, including a 10-mile walk along the Ure, arguably one of the best in the UK. The town boasts a good range of crafts, galleries, shops, restaurants and pubs and has become best known perhaps as the home of two breweries Theakstons of Old Peculiar fame and the Black Sheep Brewery. The area is packed with things to do and places to visit with the popular towns of Ripon and Harrogate within driving distance. As you approach the cottage, take in your rural surroundings and stunning views on offer.

Stoke up the fire and watch a movie on the Smart TV. Head through to the kitchen and rustle up a home-cooked meal which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and washer/drier. The kitchen leads out into a lovely cottage garden overlooking the vistas beyond. Get everyone together around the dining table to catch up on your day or play a board game!
