The town also boasts an aquarium, a range of shops, and a harbour from where visitors can choose to take a fun boat trip out to sea. The town also enjoys a special connection with the highly regarded British artist, Damien Hirst, who has chosen the town as the home for his largest work to date, a huge bronze and steel sculpture of warrior woman, Verity, who proudly guards the town’s harbour.
