Dawlish is a traditional seaside town, home to the famous black swans. Just a short drive away is Dawlish Warren with a sandy beach, built on a spit of sand with the Exe estuary on one side and the sea on the other with golden sands. It has all the attractions of a traditional holiday but in an outstanding natural environment. Keen walkers will enjoy the Exe Estuary Trail, leading to Exmouth via Cockwood with its harbourside pubs, Powderham Castle, the bustling city of Exeter and the quaint old port of Topsham. Regular trains also follow this route, said to be one of the most beautiful rail journeys, and for boat lovers, there is a ferry from nearby Starcross to Exmouth.

On entering the property, the porch is the perfect place to kick off your shoes and wipe off your paws. Following on through the property, to your right is the beautiful light and airy lounge, a delightful space for enjoying a good catch up with friends and family or relaxing amongst the rich, soft furnishings and watching your favourite programme on the Smart TV. Across the hall is the first of the three bedrooms, a delightful and spacious king-size bedroom and just down the hall from here is the shower room with shower and WC. Leading on through the property, you will find yourself in the kitchen/diner. The kitchen area consists of an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee filter machine, Tassimo coffee maker and a small breakfast table, with the dining area offering seating for six guests and a Smart TV.  The washing machine, tumble dryer and a small freezer and fridge are located under the stairs. Heading upstairs to the first floor after a long day exploring all that Devon has to offer, you will find a further two bedrooms, a twin bedroom, and a spacious king-size bedroom. Also, on this floor you will find the bathroom which consists of a shower over bath and WC.

Venture outside to the rear garden area via the front door or steps from the kitchen area, this space is truly delightful, boasting palm trees and a range of different flowers. Guests can enjoy al fresco dining on the patio where garden furniture is provided, relax in the summer house or just enjoy a day in the garden. There is a brick and slate area for using disposable BBQ's. This property offers ample off-road parking.

We had a really lovely holiday , corfu cottage is perfect in every way comfortable bed , spotlessly clean and tidy with all the equipment you would need for a perfect holiday . Garden well maintained and beautiful to sit in with a drink in the evenings after long day walking and would thoroughly recommend it, out of 10 I give it 10.

Corfu cottage is a welcoming and comfortable house. We found that it was ideally placed for walking the SWCP in this area. We completed Sidmouth to Brixham using just trains and buses - ideal. Very comfortable, clean and spacious. Great location, easy walk to centre of Dawlish and scenic drive or train to Teignmouth and Torquay. Incredibly kind and helpful owners. Also great for our purpose as a multi generational break away. Thoroughly recommended.

Beautifully presented property in a quiet road. The school opposite was surprisingly quiet as not many pupils. Short walk (5 mins) into Dawlish. Location was superb to access the local area and beyond. Plenty of things to do within a small radius.

Excellent, clean comfy cottage. Beautiful gardens. Great for dogs. A little far for me to walk into Dawlish (as I'm recovering from a foot operation), but I hired a mobility scooter from helping hands. (Great). Normally the walk would be no problem. A great base for access around parts of Devon

Very comfortable cottage in an ideal location within walking distance of the town. There is a stairway down to the lovely garden which may be tricky for disabled or infirm guests however there is a gradual footpath or driveway which can be used. The garden is lovely and well worth spending time in, our dog loved chasing around the numerous trees anRead mored shrubs. There is a local disability shop which dropped off battery scooters for our elderly parents. A very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Hide
