This is a fantastic place with such fantastic views , Appledore is a great little town, we had lovely meals in the local pubs. The beds are very comfy and wi fi and TV all good. Upper Bedroom is reached by very narrow stairs and not suitable for anyone elderly or with mobility issues. Nice garden outside and really good views

We had a really lovely stay at Dock Cottage. The standout for us was definitely the view its absolutely beautiful and you never get tired of looking out over the estuary. It honestly makes the whole place feel really special, especially in the evenings. The cottage itself was very clean and well kept, and felt comfortable from the moment we arrRead moreived. It was just the two of us staying, which felt like a bit of a treat given the space (it can sleep up to six), but it would also work really well for a family or group. One of our favourite spots was the deck/patio area perfect for sitting out with a drink and soaking up the view. A real bonus to have that outdoor space right on the water. Location-wise, its ideal. Its an easy, pleasant walk into the centre of Appledore with its shops, cafs and pubs, so you feel nicely tucked away but still very connected. Overall, a really relaxing and easy place to stay Hide

We stayed here as a family to celebrate my mums 60th birthday, and it was truly a wonderful stay. The house is in the most beautiful location with stunning views. Cottage location is very good but a lack of nearby parking is a downer. It was clean and well presented and although there were three bedrooms. Access in and to them was not idea.Better for those bedrooms to be occupied by children rather than adults. This property is in a lovely location right on the estuary and within walking distance of several lovely pubs/restaurants. Lack of parking at the property wasn't a problem as plenty close by. Second double bedroom is VERY small. Good quality fixtures and fittings and comfortable beds.
