For days beside the sea, the beautiful Saunton Sands beach is nearby. Stretching for three and a half miles, its golden sands and rolling dunes offer plenty of space for family fun, surfing, seaside walks and dog walking. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the fresh sea air, build sandcastles or simply relax while watching the waves. The historic market town of South Molton is just five miles away. Famous for its popular twice-weekly market, held in the traditional pannier market, South Molton is a delightful place to spend a leisurely afternoon browsing antique shops, independent boutiques and local stores, followed by a delicious Devon cream tea.There is also plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, with attractions including Diggerland, The Milky Way Adventure Park, The Big Sheep, Cobbaton Combat Collection and RHS Rosemoor Gardens. From the moment you arrive, The Tall Barn offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The spacious entrance hall provides plenty of room for coats, boots and outdoor equipment, making it especially convenient after muddy walks, countryside adventures or days spent exploring the coast. The beautiful country-style kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. Just off the kitchen, the dining area features a table seating six, creating a lovely space for relaxed breakfasts, family meals and memorable evenings spent together. Across the hall, the inviting lounge is full of charm and character, with exposed beams, a wood-burning stove, television and lovely views across the gardens. After a busy day, it is the perfect place to put your feet up, enjoy the comforting warmth of the fire and spend quality time with family or friends.

Upstairs, three comfortable bedrooms provide a peaceful retreat at the end of each day.
Master bedroom: A spacious super-king-size bedroom with access to a Jack and Jill bathroom, complete with a beautiful roll-top bath and WC.
Bedroom two: A lovely king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC, as well as a balcony overlooking the garden.
Bedroom three: A cosy twin bedroom with two single beds, ideal for children, friends or family members sharing.
The Jack and Jill bathroom is accessed from the master bedroom and also serves the rest of the accommodation.
Enjoy the great outdoors
The Tall Barn is set within 30 acres of ancient pastures and natural habitat, offering plenty of space to unwind and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the Devon countryside. The grounds include a large pond with an island, an ornamental garden and gently mown pathways through the surrounding fields. These provide a wonderful opportunity to enjoy peaceful walks, spot local wildlife and discover a variety of unusual flowers as the seasons change. Children must be supervised at all times around the pond. The property also has its own private patio area, complete with garden furniture and a gas BBQ. It is the perfect spot for enjoying an al fresco meal, relaxing with a refreshing drink in the sunshine or spending a peaceful evening surrounded by nature.
