This property enjoys a lovely location, situated on a hillside with far-reaching sea views. The seaside resort of Woolacombe is within walking distance of the property and boasts a wonderful three-mile wide sandy beach, perfect for families, and also popular with surfers. Those who want to try their hand at surfing and other sea-based water sports can take a lesson at the Woolacombe Surf Centre. There are a range of eateries in the village, as well as a number of shops. Further afield, there are a number of other attractive beaches close by, including those at Croyde and Saunton Sands, as well as the popular harbour town of Ilfracombe, which is just six miles away.  Within a few minutes you are onto the many popular cycle routes in North Devon as well as Lee Woods and Spreacombe Woods which are great for Mountain Biking.

This single-storey property sleeps six in spacious and stylish accommodation. The dual-aspect lounge enjoys views across the local countryside to the sea, and is an elegant room with a large sofa, feature fireplace and Smart TV. The dining room has a glass table seating six, and a pretty window seat, which again, offers attractive views. A breakfast offers a smaller dining table, and is perfect for less formal meals or, perhaps, makes a great place for children to eat. The property’s kitchen though modest in size, is well-equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, whilst an exterior utility room houses the washing machine. The three bedrooms share the same under-stated and tasteful styling as the rest of the property, creating restful spaces for guests to relax in. The first bedroom is a king-size room, and there is also a twin and a bunk bedroom, offering a range of sleeping spaces to suit all members of the family. The bathroom has a shower-over-bath and WC.

Outside, there is a spacious rear garden which measures almost one acre, offering plenty of space to enjoy the quiet surroundings and views, there is even a goalpost for enjoying a friendly kick-about. The decked area to the front of the house offers a fantastic place to lie back on the sun loungers and enjoy the sun, or perhaps enjoy a BBQ or simply sit with a drink. Of course, the property’s hot tub available April-November, provides guests with the ultimate chance to relax and let the stresses of daily life melt away. For younger guests, there is a table tennis table in the garage, which provides lots of fun, no matter the weather.

Until some time and money is spent on this place it is not worth the rental price. Old, tired, not cleaned properly , rotten crumbling sleepers in garden that form part of steps. The cupboards smelt musty and old.

Lovely cottage in beautiful location. Wonderful welcome pack for us and the 2 family dogs. Very disappointed about the hot tub not working as this was promoted with the cottage.

It is a lovely bungalow, with great views in places, in a nice little town. It was clean and tidy. The pictures are misleading and if you are looking to sit in the hot tube and look out to sea you cant as the cover blocks the view and the bushes around the garden do also obstruct the view. There is also a caravan at the top of the garden which is aRead morelso rented out, which I was unaware of when booking. We had a lovely stay. Hide

Cottage was clean, well presented and everything as described. Welcome gifts were lovely thank you!! Hot tub enjoyed. Suggest you make few additions to welcome book with heating & hot water instructions, bin instructions. Did have hot water issues that were resolved after contacting owner. Was long walk to Woolacombe, to walk dog you did need to geRead moret into car, as first km had no paths. The back garden was safe for dogs, they could escape onto a busy road, if you werent vigilant Hide

It would be easy to fence off yard area out of kitchen door just to allow dogs out for toileting and contain the mess. And also would be easier to wash that bit of yard down too.

Lovely cottage felt like home from home. If I may politely suggest a deep clean is essential as we found some of the previous occupants bits in places.. toilet seat is in need of replacement as it is was grubby from wear n tear .. though overall was a lovely place. Lovely touch on cream tea with cake bread milk n tea n coffee.. thx u.
