An exquisite cottage in the small fishing village of Porthallow, this cosy hideaway is ideal for those wishing to be right on the coast. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom bolthole is just 150 metres from the beach and perfectly located for exploring the magnificent Lizard Peninsula. Amble down to the pebble beach to swim, snorkel, paddle board, or enjoy a picnic. Venture out to explore the other beautiful beaches of the Lizard, including Porthbeer Cove, 6 miles away, and Kennack Sands, 8 miles away. Make a picnic and stride out along the dramatic South West Coast Path. Choose which direction to head out along, as this cottage is almost exactly midway along the picturesque route. Head into St Keverne to stock up on groceries and return to Porthallow for a pint and a bite to eat in the popular pub. Take the children to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, 9 miles away in Gweek.

Stroll back to the cottage after summer mornings and afternoons on the pebble beach, and step inside your new home-away-from-home. The welcoming ground-floor accommodation centres on an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you can all unwind and enjoy your precious relaxation time together. Light the wood burner during the autumn and winter months, then choose a book from the shelves to enjoy on the comfortable L-shaped sofa. Prepare tasty meals in the country-style kitchen space, with its cream cabinets and wooden work surfaces, also featuring a dining table. When eyelids begin to droop, climb the stairs up to the first floor of the cottage. Here, you will find a double bedroom and a super-king-size, which has zip-and-link beds that can be made into a twin if discussed in advance. The family bathroom, with its gorgeous freestanding bath, is also here.

Spend time out in the sunshine of the garden. Supervise any children as it is open and includes a stream. Watch the sun go down as you sip a last cup of tea or even a cocktail. The cottage comes with parking for one car.
