A network of paths lead out from the village, offering relaxing walks through the area's surrounding countryside, with the historic town of Orford to the south (2 miles). Featuring a choice of shops and cafes, the town is also home to a medieval castle and Orford Quay, which sits along the River Alde, looking out towards the Orford Ness National Nature Reserve. The famous Snape Maltings concert hall is within easy reach (3.5 miles), along the route to the bustling coastal town of Aldeburgh (9.5 miles). Other local attractions include Rendlesham Forest, Bentwaters Cold War Museum and Sutton Hoo, all within 10 miles.

Entering this light-filled hideaway, the inviting hallway leads you through into the spacious and elegantly arranged kitchen/diner, which provides an ideal space for preparing and sharing a family feast.
