A lovely holiday home in the Norfolk village of Mundesley, this welcoming hideaway is perfect for bucket and spade stays and walking escapes. Situated in a quiet location, 500 metres from the sandy beach, the three-bedroom cottage sleeps six or seven guests and enjoys exceptional access to the Norfolk Coast Path and the Paston Way. Venture 8 miles into vibrant Cromer, which expanded in Victorian times with the arrival of the railway and still features a pier, seaside theatre and other traditional attractions. Plan a day at the National Trust’s splendid Blickling Hall, 13 miles away, with its magnificent Jacobean mansion house, gorgeous gardens and extensive rolling parkland grounds. Take the children to Amazona Zoo, 8.5 miles away, or Bewilderwood, a woodland adventure park, 16 miles from the cottage. Lastly, you could spend a day in the historic city of Norwich, 23.5 miles, with its castle, cathedral and shopping areas.

Make your way into the cottage to discover light and airy accommodation with plenty of room for all. From the front door, find yourselves in the hallway and follow it straight ahead into the kitchen/diner to unpack any provisions you have bought. Cater for your group with ease in this well-appointed area and gather around the table in here for snacks and hearty breakfasts. A more formal dining room is the perfect spot for your evening meals and flows through to a light-filled conservatory where you can relax after dinner. Open the French doors in here on hot days to bring in a sea breeze. The spacious lounge, which boasts two more sets of French doors onto the lovely gardens, is where you can gather to play holiday games and watch your favourite shows on the Smart TV. This level also offers a small office for those seeking a moment of quiet time or catching up on admin. Finally, two bedrooms, one family bathroom and a shower room complete this level. Climb the stairs to find another lovely master en-suite bedroom. Here, sun streams in via the skylight windows. Guests can request the use of an additional single pull-out bed for one extra guest.

Soak up the sea air and sunshine out in the wrap-around garden. Play games with your pet and any children in the party, then relax on either the upper or lower deck and dine under the stars. There is ample private, off-road parking here for 4 cars.

Nice house, plenty of room for big families. Lots of doors - really useful for keeping dogs contained. A short walk to the beach, although some of this is on local roads without pavement. It was quite quiet when we went with two small children and two dogs. I wouldn't want to do the walk to the beach with that collection in peak season if driveRead morers are as fast as some were. Observe the warnings with the decking as they are slippery when wet. Very usefully a hose is available in the garden to rinse your dog off after the beach. Beds are low but comfortable. All in all a comfortable stay and would stay again. Hide
