The hideaway enjoys a peaceful lakeside location at White Cross Bay, a leisure site in Troutbeck Bridge, within easy reach of the bustling towns of Ambleside, Windermere (1.5 miles) and Bowness (2.5 miles), each with an array of traditional pubs, independent shops, and friendly restaurants. The popular Brockhole on Windermere is just a 10 minute walk, offering beautiful gardens, a children's adventure playground, archery and boat hire. Whilst Bowness-On-Windermere boasts The World of Beatrix Potter, which is perfect for the youngsters. The eastern shore of Windermere boasts a range of historic landmarks and fantastic attractions, including Stagshaw Gardens, Townend, and Holehird Gardens, all within 2.5 miles. From the Windermere Jetty Museum (2 miles), you can take a boat trip out across Windermere itself.

A couple of steps lead up onto the decked space, then through the patio doors and into the lounge/diner.
